I know I'm right!
There is a pair of twins that are both actors. They are apparently identical twins. I particularly like one. But I am not fond of the other. I can always, without fail, tell when the one I like in in a show. I've been watching him for years and I adore his work. For reference, it is the Ashmore twins. I like Shawn. I'm not fond of Aaron. I can always tell when it's Shawn. I've been watching him since Earthsea. If not longer. I told her that was the guy in the Rookie. She fully managed to Jedi Mind Trick me into thinking it was Aaron. I'm not particularly fond of Wesley as a character, and because of that, she was able to fully convince me the actor was actually Aaron. And I'm like...no...no that can't be right. I can't remember Aaron's characters, so I went and looked him up and I was RIGHT. It's freaking Shawn just like I said it was! and she still tried to argue with me that it was Aaron until I showed her he IMDB. I should know better than to doubt myself. I tell her all the time they're NOT identical to me. I have a very different reaction to the both of them. They do not LOOK the same, their mannerisms, etc, they are not the same. I LIKE watching Shawn act even if I don't like the characters. I don't like watching Aaron. As proof, he apparently played a character on one of my favorite shows for a whole season and I can't even remember who he is. I'm really getting irritated with telling her I can tell them apart and her telling me no one can because their identical. She does it all the time whenever twins are involved like its weird I can tell them apart. I guess it's finally getting to me. I need to better stick to my guns because I knew what I was talking about!

Go listen to some live music. It doesn't have to be anyone famous, but it could be. Explore a festival, a band at a bar, or a concert. Just make sure that it is live music, not a recording. Where did you go, and who did you listen to? I went to a concert, Stray Kids. They are a Korean band. They are the first group my roommate liked so I was happy to support her conversion. What type of music did they play? Was it different from what you normally listen to? They have a large variety of styles. EDM, rap, hip hop, etc. It is lively and speaks to the heart of you. It really is quite amazing. It's not really different than my usual as I listen to K-Pop. I do usually lean towards rock, but I enjoy it.

Disappointment
Describe your first big disappointment. My first big disappointment happened when I was 3 years old or closer to four at that point. My little sister had been born and my mother had moved us in with her newest boyfriend at the time. It was then I learned no one comes to save you, not even family. I learned no human should be trusted and no one will protect you when you scream...not unless they can see the injury caused by someone else's hand. No one cares about the bite marks if they come from your own teeth. No one questions staples in your fingers if you just say it's an accident. No one questions nap time in a locked room when you're just a child and the man tucking you in kisses everyone on the cheek before laying down with you. My biggest disappointment came the day I lay in the livingroom with my sisters...my mom 3 feet away and his hand down my pajamas. I was never the same after that. Some people will likely argue that's trauma, not disappointment. But every disappointment in my life has run on similar traumatic lines and nothing is more disappointing than losing all your faith in your mother...in your family.

Cookie swap: Guided happiness
Host a cookie swap with friend, family, or co-workers. Sharing cookies is a great way to spread some joy and try new recipes. What cookie did you bring to the cookie swap, and where did you get the recipe? I made peanut butter criss-cross cookies and peanut butter chip brownies. The peanut butter cookies were my G-Ma's recipe. My favorite cookie. The brownies were a whim from a recipe card. Who did you invite to your swap. Why? I did the cookie swap at my office. A holiday was coming up and it seemed like a good idea.

Name an object from your childhood that you still own. What is the story behind it, and why have you kept it? I have my baby doll. It was made for me by a family friend the day I was born. It is one of three items I wanted to keep. Unfortunately my baby blanket was destroyed. My Mama Bear was lost by my mother when she moved to Florida. My mom got me a replica, but it's not the same. That leaves my baby doll. She'd old, plain, and in a color I don't even like, but she is mine. She was made just for me and even my sisters never messed with her. The time this particular family friend spent making it? I only saw her maybe once a year, but she always kept tabs, always cared. This doll is...nostalgia and love, devotion. She is irreplaceable and I'm glad I still have her.

Forgiveness?-QuestLog
Forgive others. It takes energy to stay angry, and it only hurts yourself. Don't hold grudges. You will feel lighter and happier. Did you release any grudges you were holding, and how did it feel? I let go of my issues with my post office. I spoke with them to let them know my concerns, but realize there is nothing more I can do about it and I have accepted this. I can only accept how things are. What is the hardest part about forgiving someone? It's unsatisfying. I do not 'forgive'. I let go and move on, but I do not forgive. They have damaged items that can not be replaced. I will not forgive them. But I can accept the unchangeable and move on, so I have.

Kindness - Quest Log
Be thoughtful! It will make you feel good and brighten someone else's day. Think of some ways to be extra kind, and go for it! What thoughtful act did you do, and who did you do it for? I remembered that a client hadn't called me. She's not in town and there would be a problem with her stuff if I couldn't reach her. I went to the office on my day off to try and reach her. Even after finding our contact was out of date. Found other contact and they helped me reach her so she was taken care of. How did you feel being kind? It was weird. It's out of my comfort zone. I'm not needlessly mean, but I do not often go out of my way for strangers. It was unpleasant, but I occasionally get the urge to do so and I can't stop it. This was one of those times.

Make time for something you really love but are too busy to do. Be present in the moment, allowing yourself to completely enjoy the activity. When did you first start enjoying this hobby? I first started this hobby as a child. My family used to have a table set up dedicated specifically to puzzles. We would put them together as a family and I kept up the hobby through high school. How do you feel when you get to spend time doing something you love? How can you make more time for it? Puzzles relax me. Small, big, twisted. It never mattered. I enjoy seeing the final piece once I complete it. As for time, I haven't spent much on it lately, but I could certainly do them over the weekends.

Start a new hobby you've always wanted to try. What new hobby did you try, and how did you like it? I started resin crafts. It seems stressful. I lost half of my supplies. I mixed to much resin and it takes a long time to set. I do feel accomplished though since I wanted to take it up. Do you think you will continue with this hobby? Why, or why not? I think so. It's going to take some practice, but I look forward to seeing the complete work. It will be long lasting too.

Coloring - DQ7
Color or draw just like you did when you were younger. There are tons of adult coloring books available. You can get different pens and markers, and you can even try and draw your own picture to color. How do you feel when you color? Itâs a little irritating. I have a hard time differentiating colors. Itâs also painful as my fingers dislocate. Do you have a favorite design to color, and what is your favorite tool to color with? My favorite design to color is geometric. I enjoy coming up with my own color patterns. As for tool, I would have to say colored pencils.Â

TBR - DQ 5
Read a book from you âto be readâ stack, something youâve been anticipating and know youâll really enjoy. Dedicate the time and create a comfy nook for yourself while reading. What book did you select, and why did you want to read it? I selected âDragon Withinâ. Itâs an indie book of short stories. I enjoy indie works and review them on Youtube. I selected this one as it was short but full of fantasy. How did you like the book? Was it what you anticipated? I enjoyed it. A couple of the stories made me uncomfortable. Overall it was fun and I definitely found some favorites. It was a little different than expected, but still worth it.

Stress Avoidance - DQ 4
Give yourself a day to let go, do what you want, and avoid anything that stresses you out. What you do is up to you as long as you stay carefree and happy. What did you decide to do, and how did it feel? I did nothing. Played a couple games. Wrote a little. Just small hobbies. Iâve been trying to do them more often. I also took a nap. How did you avoid stressors? Was it difficult? Most of my stressors are external. I avoided any online posts from my family. If a conversation was one that often turns stressful between me and my roommate, I changed the subject. It was actually pretty easy.Â

Poetry - DQ3
Write a poem about happiness or something that makes you happy. It can be any kind of poem. Just let the words flow naturally. Â Joy is fleeting So easy to lose So hard to gain A memory long forgotten But a solace to a tortured heart Why so fleeting? This joy These moments of bliss Of contentment Of peace Because time is fleeting Elusive and transient And yet Even a bittersweet memory can bring joy Because a moment That is eternal What is your poem about? My poem is about the fleeting sensation of joy. How temporary happiness can be. Yet even after years, when everything feels like crap, those moments can still make you happy. A fond memory, a lot item, reconnecting with a friend. The joy always comes back...even for a moment. How do you feel about your poem, and how do you feel about sharing it with others? If feels a bit sad but hopeful? It points out how fragile happiness can be...but that it can always come back...even if itâs from something from years ago. Iâd be okay sharing it. Iâve shared poetry before and though itâs not very good...writing it is cathartic.

Treats - DQ2
Treat yourself to something. Pick anything that makes you happy, from a dessert to a manicure or new clothes. What did you treat yourself to, and why does it make you happy? I treated myself to Wonderbar bologna. I realize itâs an unusual pick, but most stores donât carry it anymore and itâs a family favorite. How did it feel to reward yourself? Do you treat yourself often enough? Iâm really happy about it. It reminds me of lawn sale days with my G-ma when she would make us a picnic before she got sick. I donât get it enough because itâs bittersweet. Nice treat as I usually restrain myself due to financial worries.
