you were already tipsy when you arrived at the party, having pregamed with strawberry buzz balls. then, when you actually went to the party, it was drink after drink after drink. at some point during the night, you couldn't remember when, abby had snatched your drink out of your hand, promptly pouring water down your throat.

then she hauled you into a taxi with her, and you both went home. which is how you ended up sitting on the bathroom counter, a trash can in your lap as abby holds your hair back. she's rubbing your back with her big palm, making big circles over your shirt.

"you done?" she asks you softly, moving your hair back and holding it with one hand. with one last hurl, you'd gotten it out of your system. and poor you, abby couldn't help but jut out her bottom lip when you started shaking.

she dampens a rag with warm water in the sink before handing you a piece of gum to rid you of the bitter taste the stomach acid left in your mouth. she wipes your face clean, retreating to your room to fetch you a fresh pair of clothes. she comes back momentarily, obviously helping you change out of your puke-covered clothes. you thank her sleepily as she brushes your hair, kissing your forehead before carrying you to bed and tucking you in.

she leaves the trashcan with a clean bag next to your bedside in case you get sick again, along with a water bottle for when you wake up. she lays with you and cuddles you until your tremors subside and you finally fall asleep.

it's kind of an old trend but i wanna do that thing where you walk up to ur bf/gf while they're doing something g like playing a video game or at a desk and straddling them and sitting on their lap for a hug and seeing what they do with abby:( she'd be so welcoming and ask if you were okay and give you the tightest squeeze!!! could you maybe write something with this? if not that's okay lovely !

i can imagine gamer! abby sitting at her desk playing whatever game she's playing (i'll leave that up to your imagination). usually she spends her friday and saturday nights playing on her PC. except for the nights when you were with her. except for this one. she had just unlocked a new level that she was dying to play, and of course she felt awful when she asked if she could play while you were at her apartment. you just loved seeing your baby happy.

so that's how you ended up here; laying on abby's bed while her back is to you, her eyes and mind fixated on the computer screen in front of her. she was locked in, veiny hands and thick fingers prodding at the controller. her nose is scrunched and her eyebrows are fluffed up, intensely focused.

being bored while she plays, you'd seen the tiktok trend where people would sit on their partners lap and film their reaction, and you wanted to try.

so you shuffle out of her bed, leaving the warm sheets to trot over to her side. when you enter her peripheral she doesn't bat an eye, just staring at the screen. you shimmy in between her and the desk, putting your legs in each of the holes under the armrests.

you half expect her to get mad at you for interrupting her game time, but she doesn't. abby sits back in surprise, holding her controller in one hand as you situate yourself on her beefy thighs. she leans back to take you in, pressing pause on her controller.

"whats wrong, baby girl?" she coos, "you okay?"

you nod, burying your nose into the crook of her shoulder. she sits still for a moment, her heart beating in sync with yours. until she wraps her arms around your lower back, warm hands splaying across the expanse of your shirt. her warmth radiates through the material and you hum contently.

she kisses your forehead, setting the controller down and resting her chin on your shoulder, "want me to take a break?"

you chuckle, curling into her warmth some more, "it's okay. i just wanted to see how you'd react."

she rolls her eyes, chuckling by herself before picking up her controller again, "you're lucky i love you."

last tlou post for a little bit but. i don't really read the fic part of the fandom often anymore, but since interacting with any the last of us post puts like five of you guys on my dashboard inevitability i have one request. (mostly towards abby and ellie) (heavy on ellie, you guys show up the most)

PLEASE start making your y/ns have some diversity, add uniqueness to your fics, im tired of getting cookie cutters!! i don't want petite, fem, shy lamb characters in almost every fic. give me someone like dina or something. ellie has canonically dated cat and was in love with Riley, both of which are pretty tomboy style. give me a tomboy y/n.

go farther than tomboy, i want to see those girls fall head over heels for a butch. not flannel and jeans like you some of you think butches are, i want a REAL butch. physical labor and hypermasculine butch.

add some diversity to the trans genre, all it is transgirl ellie/abby. not too much of a complaint, i love it, but i just wanna see some diversity in that. give me enby or transmasc ellie. better yet make y/n the trans one for once. or both of them. t4t would be great to finally see.
