I cried when I finished reading his speech. I'm not really a fan of his, but his speech touched my heart deeply. I understand how he felt all those years, cuz I know how it feels like when your parents decided to divorce. I love how he's honest with the fans

Hiro MFS Budokan “kazoku" speech

The heart-wrenching words Hiro said at the Budokan on 18 November 2016 that brought the auditorium to tears with him. Things he had been keeping in his heart since he was 11 years old when his parents split up. This is the voice of that 11-year-old boy who was powerless against the world to do anything to stop what was happening.

Disclaimer: I merged the contents of Hiro’s speech from different sites. Since I was not there at the Budokan nor heard the actual speech, I don’t know the actual order these words were spoken. I arranged them based on what seemed natural to me.

そして、5人が揃った最後のステージに、 And, the final stage where the five people gathered on,

Hiroが残したのは、“2つの家族”についての思いだった。 Hiro left behind the thought about “two families".

「………. 僕には今日、なんとしてでも伝えたいことがあります。僕が小学生の頃、気づけばバラバラになっていて、��れを止めるには当時の僕は幼すぎました。何もできることはなかった。そしてバラバラになった形が今、新しくもう1つの形になろうとしてる今も、僕の名前が挙がることはありません」

“………… by all means, there is something I want to tell you today. When I was an elementary school student, even when I realized (things) were falling apart, at that time I was too young to stop it. There was nothing that I could do. And then even though it was about to become another shape, which is a disjointed shape, my name never comes up.”

「僕はずっと1人でした」 “I’ve always been alone,”.

「家族とはなんでしょうか？ 愛とはなんでしょうか？ 僕にはよくわかりません」 “What is a family? What is love? I don’t know it very well”

と涙を流し、 he said (as) he (started to) shed (his) tears,

「もうこの新しい形がなくならないように、そして、この思いが今日で届くように。」 “So for this new shape not to disappear anymore, then, I hope today this thought will reach (you).“

「この歌を歌うのは今日が最初で最期にします」 “Today will be the first and the last time that I will sing this song,”.

と断ると、 telling (that) in advance (to the audience),

バンドはHiroが家族について歌った「Home」をライブ初披露。 and the band (played) the first Live performance of the song Home that Hiro sang about (his) family.

歌いだしで泣き崩れたHiroを支えたのは、メンバーとオーディエンスの声だった。 There were the voices of the (band) members and the audience, that supported Hiro who had broken into tears crying, by singing out (with him).

Hiroは声を震わせながら、情感たっぷりに歌唱し、歌い終わると泣き崩れた。 Hiro, while trembling his voice, singing full of emotion, broke down crying when he finished singing.

曲の最後にHiroは「お父さん、お母さん聞こえてますか、僕の声。いつか必ず5人で集まれる日を心から願ってる」という言葉を残し、武道館のステージを完遂した。

At the end of the song, (bringing) into completion the Budokan stage (concert), Hiro left the words,

“Papa, Mama, can you hear my voice? Someday, from the bottom of my heart, no matter what, I hope there will be the day that the 5* of us will gather,”.

I have always wondered how Hiro feels looking at his close buddy Teruki who has happily married parents. Sadness? Envy? Longing?

Arata Habitually, everyone would wake early in the morning to join each other for breakfast, but… huh? Kuroda is missing.

Arata Kuroda is the enigmatic gigantic-sized male rabbit who has led us towards the route of being an idol. He’s assumed to weigh about a whole 20kg.

Arata In synchronization with his hefty size, he’d usually join the table for more food but now, he’s nowhere to be seen.

Arata So, first of all – it’s impossible.

Arata Everyone then starts to look around for Kuroda. Then, all of a sudden, they come to notice a black hole, appearing mysteriously in the corner of the room.

Haru A half-bucket construction work?!

Arata Nope. That was an entrance leading towards the Wonderland.
