UUUGGGGGHHHH thanks anon, now I can't stop thinking about Melissa and the Sherrif staring down at this old, faded photograph of Theo, Scott and Stiles as kids and just feeling really sad and melancholy about it, and then Scott and Stiles actually show up and see the photo on the table and is like "who's that with us?" and then they realize and it's like "that can't be theo, that kid has a crooked nose and buck teeth and freckles and the theo of today doesn't", and then they work it out, and then LIAM shows up and the events probably follow the same vein of "who's that other kid?" and then he works it out faster than the others because come on, liam knows theo no matter what he looks like, and freaks out even more than the others, just utterly horrified because?? they did what to a child?? and he no doubt calls theo in a hurry and theo rushes over all worried and ready for trouble and Liam just shoves the photo in his face and is like "care to explain this?" and first of all, theo probably wouldn't even recognise himself, and then is just like 'oh yeah i forgot i used to look like that, how embarrassing, what's the big deal?' and everybody else thinks that it's a VERY BIG DEAL

So I’m not sure this was your intention, but your ask did lead to me entirely plotting out a short fic covering this idea, so if nothing else: thank you for that!
