I don’t know how many boys follow me, but I gotta bet there’s some. I just wanna tell y’all to be careful.
Abusive girls exist and what they’re doing is seen as like “badass tough don’t take no shit” but your girl should not hit you. Ever.
She should not demand for you to hand over your phone to look through.
She should not yell at you and humiliate you either alone or in front of people.
She shouldn’t make you distance yourself from your friends or family.
She shouldn’t scratch you or twist your arms.
She should not call you names.
She shouldn’t tell you ‘she’ll kill herself if you break up’
These are just a few examples of abuse and it’s just seen as okay when girls do it and god knows I’ve fallen victim to it a few times, but you shouldn’t have to.
Never worry about not being in a relationship. If they’re worth it, they won’t hurt you.
No one has the right to hurt you.
#PSA#abuse is abuse#please know the signs#your partner should never hurt you#and should never WANT to hurt you

Was talking with the fiance today, about how Congress should be put on UnitedHealthcare (and see how fast they actually change the healthcare system)
And I was curious - what IS the Congressional Healthcare?
Y'all they're using SHOP - Small Business Health Options Program.
Small. Business.
Y'all.

the social norm of “its your ethical responsibility to be constantly aware of, and angry about, every bad thing happening in the world at all times, even if you can’t possibly do anything about it” is possibly the best way I can imagine to create burnout and cynicism and depression in a population, so good job guys

I stare at half-done projects with no will to continue or finish them. I load a game up, look at the opening screen, and close it; I either don't have the attention span to enjoy the story, or the will to get through some various part of it.
I open a book, or AO3, but nothing catches any interest. So I doomscroll, not really absorbing anything.
I *want* to do things. Something, anything.
But I don't have the will, or the energy, or the bandwidth to concentrate.
Maybe I could take a nap. But I've got a list of things to do, and nothing's gotten done. So now I'm feeling bad because I haven't accomplished anything at all.
I feel like we need to talk more about how fucking boring depression can be. I pick up a book and can’t read more than a few sentences, a chapter if I’m lucky, before I can’t focus. I knit two rows of something and then can’t continue. I scroll through all the different options of shows I haven’t watched without clicking on any of them. I hop from app to app looking for content that will spark literally any single emotion. It’s not even 10am and I already feel like I’m just waiting until it’s time to go back to bed.
I hate it I hate it I hate it

If you live in the USA and you're pleading for donations to pay your rent, bills, or get food then dial 211! Please dial 211 before the last minute!
It's a toll free service with people who will help you find programs in your community to pay those bills, find food, and find housing! They will give you numbers to call so you can get help.
It is not 100% foolproof. Their job is to direct you to a program they believe will help your current issue, but it's still a step up from praying random strangers online will give you enough cash before a deadline! The added benefit of these community programs, which get funded by the local government most of the time, is if there are more people using them then they can get more money to help more people.
You're not taking resources from other people if you use your community services. Your taxes pay for them. Use them.
Dial 211 first to see if they can help, and if for some reason they can't, then make your donation posts!

Yarns: hobbii's baby snuggle solid white and grizzly
The Graham cracker yarn is from Hobby Lobby Yarn Bee or baby bee?, IIRC in 'teddy', but I do NOT recommend it. At all. It shed and fell apart as I was trying to sew the pieces together, I had to get some similar acrylic yarn to finish putting the pieces together. See all that mess on the desk? yea. that's from the yarn bee yarn.
(and, yea. he's suppose to have 6 spikes, but somehow they wouldn't all fit, so he's special and only has 4.)

OFC now that I'm finally switching jobs,
And were about to close on a house and move,
Which means packing...
And the holidays...

Mini stocking for the holidays. Great for little treats - candy, tiny bottles of wine perhaps?? What else would you put in this little stocking?
Pattern was on etsy, but the shop seems unavailable at this time!
Found it!
