Concept of the Show:

I love traveling, I love capturing live music and I also love drawing and painting along the way. Therefore, I usually collect through the years a lot of sketches and paintings.

In this particular show I am presenting to you few series of mine.

Music: London; UK; Lisbon and New Orleans.

Traveling: Landscapes; Cityscapes and Seascapes of Lisbon and Hawaiian Islands.

My drawings are usually prototypes for my paintings. They also are artworks themselves.

I tried to capture the vibe and energy of the particular places and events I depicted. Also I have my own distinctive style with which I am trying to explore the abstract rhythms and motions of what I see.

These sketches and paintings I am showing in the current exhibition are all about good times and vibe.

I hope these artworks will bring smile to their viewers.

This artwork participates in a Group Show of @bsmtspace - "VIGNETTES". Open until Jan. 14th, '24.

It depicts a B-girl (inspiration from dancer @_aaliyahdawkins_ who performed at Hip Hop Drawing session organized by @goodhandrawing @gowivflo during "Beyond The Streets, London" exhibition of @rogergastman @beyondthestreetsart in @saatchi_gallery ) on a background which consists of selection of cassettes with Old School Hip Hop and Break Dance music which I grew up with.

The B- girl symbolizes my nostalgia to much earlier times in my life when I used to break dance, inspired from "Freestyler" of @bomfunkmcsofficial as well as @drdre @2pac @eminem @mobdeep_official @cypresshill @publicenemy @ericbandrakim @teacha_krsone @wutangclan @djflash4eva and the Furious Five @nas and NWA @outtacomptonmovie @snoopdogg. This is not the full list. Just to name some.

The colours and the shapes are inspired from my love of music, abstract rhythms, energy, motion. The connection between them all.
