Zombie Raph time

your tmnt au seems unbelievably fire, would you mind explaining the lore a but?

For sure! (I love talking abt it feel free to ask more)

So basically in my au the turtles failed at saving the world from a bad guy who was trying to vaporize a chemical to kill mutants that would act like a virus, I'll do the more technical explanation for that later, but anywho: the virus had unintentional side effects and caused a reaction that zombified people and society kinda collapses. It makes the turtles zombies but they don't lose their cognitive ability like humans did so they couldn't tell until Mikey dies and literally crawls back home. They can get hurt but they can't heal nor die so they are stuck at the level of damage they're at, minus some prosthetics and stitches.

They still have contact with Casey and April for a while but they think everyone else is dead and can't confirm either way, though Raph is the only one motivated enough to venture out to see them. Casey keeps going out to try and find survivors and bring them back to a camp they set up for humans. Raph goes out and helps until Casey gets badly injured and Raph mistakes him for being dead and leaves him with April. He then goes back to the bunker the turtles are staying at and doesn't leave for year.

The part of the story I like to make comics for the most is when Leo starts to head out again for supplies and take down zombies. He finds a human kid and decides to take it in because they won't leave and they're essentially adopted by the turtles.

I don't want to know what deal they made to make that happen especially when there are bills being proposed that would allow more surveillance of US citizens and their internet usage that shit's sketchy as fuck. Not going on anything meta owned either. Absolutely infuriating.
