Super Easy Buddaejiggae or Korean Army Stew Recipe in English

So my fiance who is Korean and I who am American made a video about how to make this dish. My friend got us tickets to KBS Music Bank tv show but it’s on a day I have to work. I’m so upset. I’m so upset. Even though I saw Shownu and Hyungwon at Incheon airport aka was told excuse me by their security because I was oblivious and looking at the information map for my flight, I would love to go see an idol show. But I have to miss it for work.

Unpopular opinion time: more really a post on my personal experience while living here in Korea. The current scandal going on is not knew when it comes to how women are seen and treated. It is also not just an issue of powerful men either, it is an issue of women and entitlement.

You can find many good men however, they are complacent about abuse being done to women. They still think they are good because they themselves have not abused women. Here specifically because of laws abuse seems to come more often in non-physical ways like coersion, manipulation, emotional, and mental abuse. I also think it is because the way the laws are set up culturally here it would be much easier to find someone guilty of physical abuse as opposed to others.

Just because you are good in general does not make you a good person. Even further just because someone is good to you does not mean they are good for you. That can be said in so many ways.

I’m feeling extremely vulnerable right now just leaving an abusive relationship here and having my closest friend (though I understand his reasoning) decide to no longer be my friend too out off fear. I’m in shock and honestly just not sure what to think. The one good thing I have going for me is I am completely and unfortunately used to being alone a lot so I know I’ll eventually get through this but it is more difficult when you are in a new place and do not know many people.

Cultivating Sincere Companionship

Getting over my fears of getting lost and public transportation means accepting that I can get around on my own and could the entire time. That my deep rooted fear was actually that if I did those things I'd have no one around at all that cares for me. Because I'm so poor at picking up on when others sincerely care for me.

Since moving to Korea 4 months ago I've: rode the subway, rode the bus, rode in a plane which I had never done before, gotten lost, found my way back. I'm really trying to work on facing my fears even if they are terrifying because I think cultivating more mutually equal and beneficial relationships are worth more than any false safety net my fear my have led me to think dependence had given me before. So here's to facing more fears and building more sincere companionship.
