a few days ago i woke up thinking: snails are cute, but what if they had legs?

so i made this, and i was like "aww yeahhh such a funny animal"

A million frickin quarter square triangles, cause you had a layer cake and access to YouTube. Damn it, Missouri Star Quilt company! I really need one of those electric cutters they use at Joann’s.

I have not been in a very holiday mood, but I did manage to get my godfather’s Christmas gift. The quilting is simple, but so is he. The vegetable fabric is an ode to his three acres of garden, and the summers I spent picking, sorting and canning tomatoes with him.

This year, he’s growing peas and cucumbers for me, and teaching me to pressure can veggies.
