That when Red talked about her mom, she was talking about Bridget? That something terrible must have happened, and that her daughter had somehow gone back in time to fix it? Do you think, once she realized that, she became dedicated to making sure that her daughter wouldn't have that horrible experience with her?

Do you think she named her daughter after Red from high school, the girl who only knew her for a few days but stood by her side without question and who was clearly such a good person even if she tried to pretend she wasn't? And then, as her beautiful, perfect daughter grew into a strong, confident, smart, independent young woman who favoured reds and blacks over pinks and whites, she realized that the girl was growing to look exactly like the mysterious girl she'd been named for?

Borrowers Using Things as Other Things

So, I made that drawing where a borrower uses a leaf as an umbrella (here), and now here's a list of other items a borrower might 'misuse!'

An acorn top = a hat

A hair elastic = a belt

A dish towel = an extra-large full-body towel XD

A handkerchief = a blanket

A sock = a sleeping bag

A beanie hat = a nest

A big ol' boot = another nest

A bunch of feathers = bedding for nest

A toothpick = a walking stick

A needle = a sword (fencing style??)

A thumbtack = a dagger

A fishing hook = a grapple

A piece of graphite = a pencil

A string = a rope (especially if twined into a thicker braid)

A string of floss = ... a waxy rope??

A toothbrush head = a brush (for pet mice?)

A nail file = a sanding board (for smoothing rough wood)

An old mouthwash lid = water storage container OR a laundry hamper

An empty lip balm tin = a (food) storage container

An ice cube tray = a multi-compartment storage bin

A bottlecap = a bowl/cup

A thimble = a flowerpot

A teacup = a bathtub

A shiny coin/button = a portrait/decoration

A watch = a wall clock

A ring = a crown

A bracelet = a decorative sash

A circlet earing = a necklace

A silver necklace = a long chain (for what?? idk?!? leash for mouse??)

A fork = a clothing hanger (on the prongs)

A match = a torch

A ruler = a height-measuring stick

A popsicle stick = a leg splint (kept tight with scotch tape)

An old Rubik's cube/children's block = a table

A pair of dice = a set of chairs

A paintbrush = a broom

Whatever that little white plastic thing is called that comes on the center of a pizza sometimes and looks like a teeny table. Except now actually used as a table XD

Gods

So I should be doing homework right now, but it’s fine. Also I have quite a few things to talk about this subject so my thoughts are going to kinda bounce all over the place-

So, Gods. I fully believe that if there’s a god, they should be a giant, or at the very least a size shifter. Don’t tell me that their presence is overwhelming, SHOW ME that they are overwhelming, and nothing can give that impression better then making them a giant.

Or, if we go the size shifting route, tiny gods isn’t a very common trope, even in the g/t community. Like the idea that this tiny being the size of my finger could incinerate me with a snap of their fingers is both terrifying and absolutely adorable to me.

Continuing on the tiny god route, I imagine that they would just stay that size and just sizeshift at any time. Like one second, they are chilling in the crook of a humans neck, then when said human gets threatened, they just become this massive hulking beast.

Also, just imagine the amount of different scenarios that could come from this-

-Curious god who knows next to nothing about humans and upon seeing one, immediately scoops them up and inspects them curiously

-Miniature mouthy god who used their human as a servant, threatening them if they don’t do whatever they ask of them properly

-Gentle gods who are aware of their imposing presence, so they speak softly to the human, trying to coerce them to trust said god

-A god that was cursed, so they lost most of their power, also making them small, leaving them in a vulnerable state in the hands of a human stranger

-Giants gods that fawn over humans like we do pets

All of it just makes me kick my feel in pure happiness. And there’s probably so many other scenarios I could come up with too involving this, but I’m too lazy to write it all out :p
