Good news, the Natural Citizenship thing was nixed by the Supreme Court. It's guaranteed by the (Constitution/Amendments) and needs more than an executive order to cancel it.

OK SO I saw this post and I remembered this manga I read a while ago. It's called

The Walking Cat

The name is a twist on "the walking dead" and it's a Zombie apocalypse where the MC is a cat.

Not a talking cat or anything, all you get from the kitter is "meow" and "purr" and "hiss" and shit like that.

It is an amazing book.

Anon, same. I know I am bisexual. I know that for sure. Gender is where shit gets... weird.

I don't normally feel very masc, and he/him pronouns feel incredibly wrong. At the same time, I don't always feel particularly feminine. I don't feel a strong attachment to any one gender, but I also don't feel like I’m NB or Agender. As a whole, I barely feel Anything in regards to any specific gender.. other than "definitely not Male Pronouns".

Sometimes I really want to wear a dress and a skirt and do my makeup and be almost hyperfemme (doesn't happen too often, but sometimes tho) and everything feels wrong unless I do so. Other times I wanna wear something incredibly masc/andro and anything less than that feels wrong af (again, not too often, but often enough it stands out as a thing)

I've decided to introduce myself using She/they pronouns if anyone new asks. I’m not telling my family cus I really don't know how to explain it to them, and they already address me with She/her pronouns and that's good enough.

TLDR: Male/Boy feels wrong. Girl/female feels not completely correct. NB feels about the same as Girl.

I don't feel completely trans, but I don't feel totally cis.

I don't feel particularly drawn to any gender, but there is some gender there.

Anon finds that any labels they use make them feel nothing. They don't feel a strong attraction to any gender, but it's hard to tell. However, identifying as aromantic, asexual, and agender makes them feel uncomfortable, and they feel equally upset identifying as cisgender and heterosexual. They're wondering if anyone else is in a similar position.

So I just saw the trailer for that Minecraft movie that's coming out in April(?) and I just wanted to put out my thoughts.

The first line immediately told me it was for Minecraft. "As a (small?) child, I yearned for the mines" 10/10 so cringe it's great.

I’m curious about how they'll go about it. Especially whatever scene they do about the physics of Minecraft.

In terms of my hopes for this movie:

Con: 8/10 of all video game movies are shit. With the exception of apparently the Sonic movies? Maybe it's getting better lately because the gamers who grew up with the games are the ones making the movies now??

Pro: Jack Black. He immediately improves any movie he is in. Eg, the muppet movie: Already a good movie on its own (despite "am I a man? (Or am I a muppet?)") -- suddenly add in a subplot of "we're kidnapping Mr. Jack Black and holding him hostage. Give us money pls" and now it's improved. Somehow.

I'm gonna hold my hopes at a very low bar, that way I will be either correct or be pleasantly surprised.

So we got this Lovely bit of mail today (December 10, 2024). It was addressed to my dad, some sort of ballot.

We opened it and it was from the Heritage Foundation.

If you didn't fill out the Ballot, you were urged to send it back anyway. (No reason in particular, we just want the blank ballots with your name and shit to be returned to us)

There was an enclosed letter and I find it both hilarious and concerning. And entertaining.

My mom didn't receive one, even though (a) they live at the same house and (b) she's currently the registered Republican (please note, she very much isn't one. She's just registered as one because ✨reasons✨)

Just so many details are funny. I felt the need to post the letter.
