Genuinely how do full time artist even start… like they shit out so many different works and are able to sell stuff and live off of it. like for me , in order to sell stuff I have to get money to make them into stuff to sell, in order to get that money I have to have a job, with a job ,I have no time to actually make said stuff…but even with two jobs I still don’t have money to make stuff cus I have to buy groceries, pay my rent buy text books , gas and medication , gotta get new shoes cus my work shoes got a hole in them, then work uniforms cus they wanna dress code all the time, I’m too tired to cook so I eat out, so it’s like a never ending cycle of nothing getting done, like I have a commission rn that I’m tryna do but I’m so freaking tired from two jobs and classes that I haven’t been able to finish it 🫠

Like what is this…I’m so close to graduating that I can’t crash out and drop that.. but god am I feeling it.. I wanna draw so bad cus I miss it but I need to sleep as much as I can on my free time cus I know imma be exhausted if I don’t 😔

Like this is so ass I think I’m doing something wrong idk what tho🤷🏽‍♀️

‼️ Rant warning ‼️ I’m heated

Uhg I hate being reminded how mean and “um actually ☝🏽” dc fans are 🫠 the complete disappointment when one of my fav batfam content creators on tt shits on certain comic releases cus “it said this”or “did that” and like “ew fanon dc is taking over🤮”

Like why do you have to hate on the people trying to put out comics and content for us cus the writer put this or that in?or hate on other fans like gurl we on the same side???

From the start of me getting into dc ,or any super hero comic , I had the quick understanding that every story I read is gonna be a bit different from others and I like that!

With something like a regular series , the story ends, canon is canon ,oh well it’s over .And then since it ended, after a while people move on.yeah others are gonna write fics and aus but after a while your not getting fed new things anymore by the actual show. It loses the hype😔

With dc or marvel with the same based characters and general stories that are never ending, you have endless possibilities, aus you could say, that’s what keeps dc and marvel going after years and years, cus everything and anything could happen with the characters you love cus multiple creators or putting their spin on it.

Now I’m not saying I havnt been at fault for putting out my “opinion” on my fav characters , to me it’s me saying I like these versions and I stand by them on my end, but I’m not saying my way is the way. I still have the mindset that not everyone is gonna have the same opinion or likes that I have! But I do love those little moments that we come together and all collectively agree that “yes this character we love is DEFINITELY this” and it becomes like an “all knowing” thing.😭

Prime example on my end ,and for my poor roommates that had to sit through my tangents and yapping🤪-

I hate with a passion ,the character design for Jason Todd in the Gotham Knights video game, in the most respectful way🙇🏽‍♀️🙇🏽‍♀️😭😭but ..I’ll be damn if I don’t fight tooth and nail to get some type of merch of him from the game some how! I love him. 🤪🤪It’s literally the meme of the guy hanging up a bunch of posters on the wall saying “I hate anime” or something.

Yeah I can not like something or disagree with something but I’m not gonna completely shit on a creator s work, especially if THEY are the ones responsible for feeding me! Like come on!! It just doesn’t make sense to me!

Not only that but they are a big influencer on tt with a lot of followers that can make an impact and from the comments there was sooo many who was also taking part in bashing the creators of the new release!

Maybe I’m just passionate about this cus I’m an artist who’s always dreamed of becoming some type of big artist and draw what I love, and that I feel for the creators who are getting bashed.

It comes with the job , I know but it’s still a bummer to see, even from a fun time creator that I loved watching 😔

Anyways , through writing this all out I can’t tell if by me putting this out there that I’m doing the same thing or not…is this hypocritical ??🤔 I’m not tryna start anything so maybe not..

Idk overall I just want everyone to be nicer ig 🙇🏽‍♀️😔🤷🏽‍♀️especially to the comics creators❤️

You ever get overwhelmed with all the things you want/need to do that you do none of them🤪 and instead read timjay fics cus lemme tell ya-

I’ve been procrastinating a commission, have a whole list of things I want to draw, have the violent urge to continue old ass wips from 2 years ago, I’m working on a website and merch as well which is pretty hard ngl, but also I can’t do much with that cus I have no money to create the products!! AND THEN WHEN IM BRAINSTORMING CUTE THINGS I COULD MAKE, my list of things to draw gets LONGERRR!!!🫠🫠

Not to mention that since I need money to make the things I have two jobs which has been interesting and also time consuming .

I will say finals are over and I barely passed but they done so I have that relief 😮‍💨 but also since I’m technically a senior I need to plan my study abroad trip to Japan for next summer which is also stressful cus I need money for the applications and all that junk.

AND ALSO I’m tryna workout and eat better so I look cute for my trip/ in general which is also time consuming and involves money 🫠🫠

Uhggg I’m looking for a fic and it’s been bothering me for weeks cus I wanna reread it so bad but I can’t find it 😔

Summary off the top of my head:

Tim has amnesia from a bullet to the head that he miraculously survives, I think he’s in buldhaven with dick and dami after the incident cus dick was like we’re leaving, that was the last straw, we are going to be normal since Tim doesn’t remember being Robin and all that. Dicks working as a cop I think and Damian is still rlly mean to Tim cus it’s his fault they left( dick was leaving with Tim and dami followed) Tim know they not normal and is like trying to remember and investigate, finds a note , goes back to Gotham in search of the person mention in the note(jason) links back up with Jason, but jason is all panicky cus everyone said Tim was dead… he’d would know cus jason was the one who accidentally shot him under the influence of fear toxin 😮
