"Who said I was going to be rough with you? I know how to handle a lady properly." There was a slight blush that tinted his cheeks after the words left his mouth. Truthfully, he didn't really know anything about handling women in that sense. But when it came to being gentle, however, that he knew how to do.

"You're missing the entire point. I do get it. You're not going to go without being injured. But please, for my sake and the sake of the people who care about you, take breaks as needed." Of course, he was one to talk, but that wasn't the point right now. "Let me patch you up and get you cleaned up at least. I will worry far less when you're properly bandaged and not at risk of an infection."

"I'm INJURED Kaveh. If you carry me around like a sack of potatoes, it's only going to make the injuries worse!" she groaned. Could he even pick her up? Probably not. He said he wasn't weak, but he could barely RUN or climb without getting a stitch in his sides. She sighed as she saw the look in his eyes. He looked like someone had kicked a puppy.

"Kaveh, you do realize that my journey, the reason why I joined the Adventurer's Guild, isn't because I WANT to go out adventuring all the time. That's only the byproduct. My true mission is far more dangerous. Getting hurt like this, to me isn't the worst I've had. But I also know that there are a lot of people counting on me right now." Lumine moved her arm and cupped his face with her blood soaked hand. "So please don't worry so much about my little injuries. My will to live is so much stronger than you know."

Drafting blueprints, designing models, and refining proposals… These matters demand the greatest expenditures of effort and thought from an architect. But to Kaveh, they are also things that can calm his heart and distract him from his frustrations.

So I ended up getting a new hard drive for my old PC and I've been trying to get it up and running. Stupidly I decided to go with Windows 11 this time, despite not really liking how it looks. And the amount of bullshit errors I'm getting is really starting to annoy me. I have a horrible migraine and it doesn't help that it's hot here. So if you are all wondering where I've been and what I've been up to, that's it. Trying to get this stupid computer to actually work.

"And? I've carried building materials further than that. Just because I look thin and weak, doesn't mean I am." He huffed softly, crossing his arms over his chest before letting his mood settle a bit. A frown formed and pulled at his lips. "You're not fine. I get it, you're an adventurer. But you still need to take better care of yourself." There was a pause as he felt his chest tighten at the thought of something serious happening to her. "People care about you, Lumine. We don't want to see you getting hurt like this. --And for some of us... we can't bare the thought of losing someone else in our lives..."

"Ah," Lumine winced as Kaveh pulled her over. The injuries she had sustained were indeed painful and deep. But she did not want to worry anyone. She was going to get hurt more and more as she went to the other nations. "Kaveh I'm fine!" she gritted out, the pain making her eyes water. "And you can't pick me up and handle me like a sack of potatoes! Besides Tighnari is all the way in Gandharva Ville."

Kaveh got me to floor 12 in Spiral for the first time. STRONG BOY!! Granted, I didn't get to 12-3, but that's the furthest I've gotten. Oh, Baizhu also was a reason for this I'm sure but still. I like to think my Kaveh is a good bean and deserves good things.

"What? What happened? Let me see!" He was quick to take her hand and pull her over, already looking over the injuries. Clearly it wasn't just a scratch. He was well aware of her habit of trying to sway people's worries by now. "This is not just a scratch! Lumiiine~ You can't just hide injuries like this. You need to get this treated properly and get plenty of rest. If I have to pluck you up and take you to Tighnari, I will."

"I promise I'm alright. All it is, is a scratch. Those scythe-spears weapons the hydro rogue hilichurls wield are easy to dodge." She was definately downplaying her injuries.

"Ah! So you have heard of me. Excellent!" It was a foolish thing to think anyone in Sumeru didn't at least know him by name. After all, his magnum opus was a crowning center piece the nation, next to the city itself. People came from miles to see it. Ah... yes, his greatest masterpiece and his biggest mistake all in one.

Shaking his head, he pushed the thoughts aside, keeping a smile on his face. "That is my specialty. Grand structures. Is there a particular location you were interested in having this estate built?"

Well, having the architect practically materialize out of the aether in his presence certainly saved Neka the hassle of finding one on his own.

"Oh, it's flattering to have the renowned Kaveh himself show an interest in helping me. Your works are quite well-known, after all. But, introductions aside, I was looking about having a rather large estate built that I could have others live in and maintain in my absence. I'm a traveling scholar, after all, and rarely stay for very long in any particular place."

Kaveh slides over, his eyes lighting up immediately. CLEARLY he heard there was a need for a house constructed. Yes, surely it wasn't the huge pile of mora staring him in the face. Nope. Certainly not.

"I heard you are in need of an architect. Hello. My name is Kaveh. I am an architect. Please hire me."

"You know, maybe I should think about either buying or having a house constructed for me in Sumeru. It's pretty close to the center of the seven nations, and doesn't seem to be a horrible place to live. The only problem is that I'm..."

Ah the city on Mondstadt. Kaveh had long since desired to visit the place. Simply put, he never really had the time.... or funds for that matter. Either he was busy on a project or flat broke. Which never allowed for travel. However, this time was a special occasion. While he loathed to admit, he was grateful to his... sponsor of sorts. Or rather, his roommate, for taking him on this trip in the first place. Both of them needed the time away and what better way to spend a vacation than in the land of freedom?

Of course Kaveh's first stop was the ever famous Angel's Share Tavern. Of course, Alhaitham had been opposed to this idea, but in the end decided to allow Kaveh the freedom he so desired while he caught up with an old classmate.

As he allowed his eyes to move around the room, clearly awestricken by the atmosphere and differences from the tavern he was used to, he couldn't help but feel giddy. So much that he almost jumped at the sound of the voice.

Blinking for a second, Kaveh allowed his gaze to fall on the darker toned man, a smile finally taking him. "Ah! Thank you. I do enjoy a nice red." He said, giggling just a bit. "Apologies. I must look so obviously out of place. I've just never been to such a lively tavern such as this. It's quite exciting!"

𝑨𝒉, 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒂𝒓𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕... Kaeya was familiar with him - but more so with his companion. However, there was no doubt that the familiarity of his attire and feathers in his hair gave him away. From his vantage point at the end of the bar, he glimpsed with a star-shaped pupil as he watched him enter.

Oh, he seems very excited.

That would certainly be to his advantage. It remained to be seen how Kaeya would benefit from the interaction however. Though, It was only fitting, that the visiting guests be greeted warmly and sincerely by the Calvary Captain of the Knights himself.

"Looking for a recommendation? I can suggest an excellent red..." His glass was placed down onto the wood, fingers brushing against the surface as he spoke. In acknowledgement, he turned his head just a few inches in the blond's direction, smiling faintly.

The architect gave a soft chuckle, lifting the case and setting it on the table so as to keep it safe from those prying eyes. "Something like that." He responded, his eyebrows perking just a little. "And it is a tad obvious, yes. But it's not a bad thing. Since Inazuma became an open nation again, we have had quite a few come in from over the seas. It's nothing out of the ordinary." The blonde paused a moment, tilting his head a bit. "Though I do have to say, I've never seen an Inazuman with horns before."

A faint blush spread across Kaveh's face after the comment, feeling a bit rude for calling attention to those horns now. "Ah, my apologies. I'm not meaning to stare. It's just not something I've seen before." He said, laughing nervously for a moment before clearing his throat. "Ahem. As for Mehrak, she happens to be my companion. So she stays with me at all times." He gave the case a gentle pat then sat it upright for the man to see. With a few button pushes, the vibrant green display came to life, revealing a digital face on the front.

Watching the men quickly pretend they weren't eyeballing the suitcase draws a frown from the Oni. They were hardly lowkey about their interest in it, so Itto will for sure keep his eyes on them. After all, no injustice is allowed to happen when Arataki "The Maintainer of Justice" Itto was around.

"Oh, like a super secret puzzle box?" At first, the idea of the suitcase seemed really cool to Itto. However, remembering the situation that just happened, he frowns as he says, "Uh, not to tell you what to do, but isn't it a bad idea to carry something like that wherever you go? Shouldn't you leave it at home or something?"

His eyebrows shoot up from surprise when the other correctly identifies his homeland. "Whoa-- yeah, I'm from Inazuma! Is it really that obvious?" Little did Itto know, he stuck out so much amongst the Sumerians that there is hardly a need to put a sticker that said "outsider" on his forehead.
