(...) with her vision blurred and fingers trembling, she hadn’t even noticed the order of numbers she had typed in, or more accurately the wrong order of numbers.

it's been a normal, quiet night for junseok, just the way he likes it. he's done nothing but binge on netflix and yogurt since he got home from the bakery today, and he’s very much happy that way. his further plans for the night including a long bath, a cup of tea and a nice, long sleep because he doesn't have to go into work until noon tomorrow (which is a miracle in and of itself.) some would be bored, having no one to hang out with on a usually busy night; but junseok is perfectly content.

so, naturally, when his phone suddenly starts to buzz itself off the table, he's not only surprised, but a little miffed too. who would call him this late? what if he was sleeping? (of course, he's not, but that's besides the point.) he briefly considers ignoring the phone, but since he assumes it's probably his mom or older sister, he takes it from the coffee table and wedges it in between his shoulder and his chin, so he can go back to eating his yogurt at the same time.

he can't even get in a hello? before he's cut off by an almost hysterical-sounding, unfamiliar girl's voice -- and he freezes. blinking several times as she goes on to, well... cry, a lot - it becomes clear  that he's not the intended recipient of this poor girl's ranting, but he can't get in a word to correct her; so, resigning himself to his fate, he decides to just take a scoop of yogurt as he waits for the girl to actually pause for long enough for him to say something.

but when she finally seems to take a breath, junseok has his mouth full of yogurt and can't really pronounce anything at all. so he awkwardly pauses before making some sort of 'mmm' noise, only to kick himself just afterwards when he realizes he's possibly just signaled for the girl to go on without intending to. good going, junseok.

" has anyone taken you to a seafood place on a date, though? now that would be funny. " to be honest, junseok is the type of person who would think taking an aquarius to the aquarium is downright hilarious, but he isn't about to admit it. "but hey, at least they were thinking of you?"

“ y'know, between you and me, it sort of pisses me off that they’d have me work as an aquarium tour guide just because i’m an aquarius. don’t get me wrong, i love fish and all but still. ” oh god, here he goes again, rambling about how much he “ hates ” his sign. “ reminds me of the last time i went on a date. guess where they took me? a fucking aquarium! and what made it worse was that it was the aquarium i work at. ever since then, i swore to never go on another date again. ”
