The fact that so many people I personally follow interact with that roach-works person infuriates me. I’m not gonna make assumptions on those people, and why they interacted with that person, or continue to do so, but I am gonna say that it speaks to a pattern of antiblackness being the most accepted form of bigotry on the internet.

A blogger or celeb could publicly say they wished all Blacks were shot in the head, and y’all would excuse it and find some way to continue engaging with them. Hence, whenever it comes out that somebody influential said the n-word, or joined a hate campaign against one particular Black individual. “It was so long ago!” “They were so young!” “They changed!”

Y’all are willing to overlook antiblackness because in your eyes, it’s normal, and everyone has said or done something at some point. You watch Black movies, you read Black authors, you wear Black fashion, you listen to Black music, but you DESPISE Black people. Make it make sense.
