#i started drawing this a few months ago but probably won't actually finish it#and thus i'm just posting it anyway despite its unfinished state cuz what the heck#sod's art#original character#sogone sae#amethyst (SoD)#it's the one and only time amethyst had to pick up sae from a bar#context: amethyst at this point began working as sae's research assistant#sae enjoys a drink at the end of a long week but happens to be a really dumb drunk and overdid it#anyway i don't hate the concept of it and it was fun to draw these characters in their natural habitat#but i also think the execution is severely lacking on this one#and i'm not really feeling it enough anymore to go and fix it... ah well

#SoD's art#original charcter#oc#it's the last two of the zodiac set that I started 10+ years ago#horse and rooster#i did a quick torso study the other day so hopefully gallo doesn't look too off lol;;;#kitalpha works as an agent to an actor and is almost always on the phone#gallo is a gym bro who works at the post office who also keeps finding himself as a father figure to teenagers somehow#anyway i'm just glad to have *something* down for their concepts after 10+ years#i tried to shoehorn them into specific colors based on a color wheel with kitalpha being more red-pink and gallo yellow-orange#but their color schemes may change in the future...

#SoD's art#oc#original character#i've gone and arbitrarily changed a lot of her general vibe lol#for one i changed her name from nonsense word 'narei' to mandarin 'naire' which is just a nickname anyway#i've also arbitrarily changed which eye she's missing whoops#i think this sort of modern swordsman who doesn't put much effort into their appearance fits this character more#however i don't know how to draw swords very well#just because i am trying to study how to draw hands doesn't mean i'm good at it yet rip....#at least i'm forcing myself to actually draw hands this time instead of just hiding them all i guess...

#SoD's doodles#pokemon#rika#rika pokemon#the doodles are because I wanted a quick study into how to draw more handsome women lol#top left and bottom left were the two last ones where i realized her face is actually wider than i was drawing it#anyway i'm not very good at consistency in faces plus i wound up getting better at drawing her as i went tbh#her eyes in particular...i'm not used to drawing them sloping outward like that so this was probably good practice anyway#the reference i used was the acrylic stand that's sitting on my desk which has her shirt as much more yellow than it appears in the games#so idk if it's slightly different in other ways too.#anyway i love rika
