TGR SPOILERS

jabberwocky falling asleep held to jean's chest in the shelter and jean thinking he will surely wake up once jean starts walking, but jab stays asleep and jean thinks "the blind trust despite their unfamiliarity was bewildering, almost offensive. did the creature have no survival instincts whatsoever?" (p475) but he was unconscious when he was carried into abby's house by wymack and he was likely unconscious carried into rhemann's house too. and the trust was not a lack of survival skills because the trust meant survival.

(and cat telling jean it's jabberwocky moreau, and to embrace fatherhood. and jean thinking of rhemann and wymack as fathers, rejecting the idea at first but coming to terms with it, coming to terms with the fact that he can trust them. fathers. trust.)
