the agonizing path for sylus to find us
the first part of sylus new 4 star card made me giggle but later on, i started crying because im reminded sylus has spent eternities hoping for a chance for us to be in the same timeline
so much so that i truly believe he purposely got caught to be in space jail because the pain of not finding us was too much to bear. that is until sylus felt our bond through our souls and broke out to find us because i remember sylus saying from dragon slaying arc “i walk on this unforgiving road do everything i hold dear”
but can you imagine the agonizing pain sylus felt for eternity, knowing we finally existed in the same timeline yet felt too nervous to approach us. he carried that silent yearning with him like a secret burden, watching from afar while wrestling with the fear of rejection and the hope that perhaps fate had different plans for us since it loves to screw us over
despite going to lunar festival every year, he made a decision to not come again this year. simply seeing the happiness of others while not having his own left him in pain. it honestly left me in tears because the man after the hell and sacrifice just longs to be with us
which is why now that we are finally together, after all that waiting his source of happiness, love is standing and holding his hand and expressing to him that we feel the same
