alright so I have some thoughts abt TUA S4:

idk if some people share my opinion on this, if you don't I also understand where you're coming from, but I do NOT care for five x Lila. The age gap is a lil questionable yeah, but what really gets me is the fact that Lila cheated on her husband (her side mans brother btw) that she has three kids with. That just doesn't sit right w me at all. Plus they basically stripped away a lot of fives character and his main motivation with this pairing. Fives whole thing is his dedication to his family, and it is so outlandishly out of character for him to ditch all that to live in a greenhouse w his brother's wife. Not to mention they ruined a perfectly good frenemies relationship.

The plot though... it's something. Like the Jennifer incident (what was the point of a squid...), the subway, and all of the unanswered questions (what even are Reginald and Abigail) really make me dislike this season, and so much stuff just came out of nowhere. Idk everyone kinda felt out of character this season. Also in my personal opinion, a lot of stuff felt rushed and it generally just didn't feel like the umbrella academy.
