It’s father’s day, and I have no real time to finish this, but I wanted all my Trekkie friends and family all around the world to have this. ANTON YELCHIN 1989-2016 mrscratch0753.tumblr.com

“My name is Charlie Bartlett, and if there is one thing I want you to walk away with tonight, it’s that you are not alone.”
Rest in peace, Anton. Thank you for being such a huge influential part of my teen years.

“Our dear friend. Our comrade. Our Anton. One of the most open and intellectually curious people I have ever had the pleasure to know. So enormously talented and generous of heart. Wise beyond his years. And gone before his time. All love and strength to his family at this impossible time of grief.”
- Zachary Quinto

Anton… What a rare and beautiful soul with his unstoppable passion for life. He was equal parts serious thinker and the most fun little brother you could ever dream of. I am so honored to have been able to direct such a deep actor, so committed and genuine. I will forever be grateful for all of those little exchanges we shared, his contagious enthusiasm, his questions, his company. My heart breaks for his mom and dad who were a part of every anecdote. He carried their love into everything he touched.

Im unspeakably sad about the loss of Anton Yelchin, he was an amazing person and actor. He was an extremely artistic and creative man and his passing is a massive loss to us all. His best work was yet to come. I can honestly say I do not at this time know how to react to the news, I'm surprised, and angry, and heartbroken. Im asking everyone to keep his family and friends in your thoughts as none of us can truly understand the great sadness they are experiencing. I am so sorry this happened to you Anton, rest in peace.

Probably my most favorite movie ever, Rudderless, gives a new look at the other side of the tragedy of school shootings.
And the soundtrack is amazing! Anton, Billy and the rest of the Rudderless gang do their own singing, plus you get the tracks by the other performers in the pub! (I have the soundtrack-got it on Amazon)
