I love the idea that the team in Sonic Boom found out Shadow was a father by accidentally kidnapping his kid and being met with an absolutely fucking enraged alien hybrid outside ready to bust their door down. He’s had his kid taken from him by some really bad people before, so he’s seeing nothing but red. The only thing on his mind, the only thing he can think of, is to get his kid back.

Bonus points if Silver’s a baby and cries the whole time, only stopping once Shadow has him in his arms after bodying everyone else and clinging onto him. Shadow thinks that they’re all unconscious, but one of them is still awake and watching him soothe the baby. The baby who seems very happy to see him.

Or if they invade Shadow’s home, whether it’s an abandoned cabin he decided to claim or his cave, and Shadow is threatening them all to leave. And regardless of if they’re already fighting or Shadow is getting angrier and threatening to really injure them if they don��t leave, as soon as everyone hears the sound of a baby crying, Shadow turns around and teleports away.

If they manage to find Shadow, they find him tending to his child.

Sticks is terrified of Father Shadow. She knows how dangerous parents are when protecting their young, so she’s most likely to listen and back off, but I can totally see Knuckles getting so excited by the sight of the little one that he completely forgets about Shadow and goes to get closer. He just barely avoids getting hit by a chaos spear.

Charles Smith headcannons

These are my ideas and I might be wrong so please tell me if I am!

‼️Content warning: some self harm and depressive thoughts ‼️

- Because he spent so many years alone he talks to himself a lot and Taima. Even whit the gang he often talks to himself quietly.

- It probably took him a long time to let his guard down around the gang and actually relax. And when he did he probably slept for a week.

- He was also in bad shape when he joined the gang and maybe even injured and he was very vary and jumpy at first when people tried to help him. Since he wasn’t used to it.

- He also has trust issues after being betrayed a lot and has a hard time believing that people genuinely want to help him because they care about him.

- He’s good at crafting and knows how to tan leather and pelts. He’s also good at sewing and mends all his clothes himself. He made his buckskin hoodie himself.

- He either made his knife sheat himself or it was a gift from his mother. Same with his buckskin vest.

- Loves nature, he finds the quiet calming. When he gets upset he rides away from the gang to let out his feelings alone.

- He is not good at explaining how he’s feeling as he’s not used to talking about it.

- Has a lot of anger issues. Mostly about his identity, it makes him very unsure and insecure.

- He used to be more aggressive when he was younger but has since calmed down a bit. Or just turned his anger inwards instead.

- Often feels like he doesn’t to eat or to be happy or even to be alive. He often wonders what his purpose in life is. He’s depressed as hell.

- I think he selfharms when he gets very upset. He might punch trees until he’s hurt. Boxing might also be a way for him to hurt himself.

- Since I also think that Arthur has similar problems. They both found a lot of comfort in talking to each other about it.

- He misses his mother a lot and it upsets him very much that he doesn’t know what happened to her. When he his father at thirteen he spent years searching for her but he found nothing.

- Or he found out what happened and that upset him even more.

- He got his facial scars after getting into a fight.

Charthur stuff

- took a while for him to realise that he actually likes Arthur in a romantic way. Since he’s probably never really had a relationship or even friends.

- They both like to just sit in silence and enjoy each other’s company.

- Charles doesn’t talk a lot but when he finally got comfortable around Arthur he talked for hours. Afterwards he felt really ashamed and exhausted from talking so much he didn’t speak for days.

- Loves it when Arthur holds him. Then first time it happened he sobbed for hours because he’s missed getting hugs and feeling safe.

- He loved it when Arthur fussed over him injuring his hand. He loves it when others takes care of him. But he also feels very ashamed since he feels like he doesn’t deserve it.

- He and Arthur both has issues whit believing that they deserve to be happy. They try to remind each other of that they are loved.

- Charles is naturally warm while Arthur Is often cold. They love to cuddle while sleeping.

Modern au

- In a modern au his hobbies include sewing, leather tanning, beadwork, embroidery, knitting, crocheting among others. He likes to create stuff.

- He loves music. He listens to different kinds of music depending on his mood and has a lot of playlists. When he was younger he listened to a lot of heavy metal.
