After reading the book ACRES OF DIAMONDS by Russell Conwell, I am convinced we are all leaving the diamond mines in our own backyards as we travel around the world looking for larger diamonds, when in fact the diamonds we seek are found within us and our hometown, from whence we came. Therefore, we are calling the podcast, #IAMRIVIERABEACH. Today's Guest: Al Shipman A proud Alumni of Palm Beach Lakes High School. 1992. He was a three sport athlete but after his sophomore year, he decided to concentrate on Track and Football. He earned a full athletic scholarship to the University of Miami. He later went on to enjoy five year career in the Canadian Football League. He is now back at his alumni as the Head Football where he has been for the last seven years. Henrika more than 20 years of federal experience in the transportation industry including over a decade of experience as a senior executive at the Federal Transit Administration (FTA). She is known as a strategic, results oriented and customer-focused executive who strives for excellence and is committed to the successful delivery of public transportation programs, services, and capital projects throughout the nation. Adelee Le Grand is the Chief Executive Officer for the Hillsborough Transit Authority (HART). Adelee Le Grand is a leader, with over two decades of experience, who is passionate about utilizing mobility as a tool to create and sustain vibrant equitable communities. As the HART CEO, she is focused on elevating the value of Public Mobility as the foundation of environmentally sustainable equitable communities. Adelee has served as a member of the executive team for two transit agencies. Today's Guest: Ottis Jermone Anderson Ottis Jermone Anderson is a native of Palm Beach County and a retired NFL running back. He attended Forest Hill High School, which is located in West Palm Beach, Florida. In 1979, he obtained his Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education. Later he was inducted into the University of Miami Sports Hall of Fame and the University of Miami Ring of Honor. That season, he would cap the Giants 39-20 Super Bowl XXI victory over the Denver Broncos with a two-yard run for the team's final touchdown. At age 33 in 1990, OJ surpassed the 10,000-yard rushing mark making him a member of the NFL's elite 10,000 Yard Club. Also in that season, he was honored as the MVP of Super Bowl XXV.
