characters and plot, subtlety, romance, comedy: it all felt real. in all honesty, compared to Roshidere, this felt more real. Much Real.

finally watched the Knapsack Kid movie (Rascal Series; its available on Aniwave) and man oh man. another emotional overdose. very excited for the next movie🔥🔥

honestly, the greatest disappointment of the season. ok, maybe not that great of a failure, but the earlier marketing and rumours of it being the next-generation 'Nichijou' definitely fell flat on its face. can't believe it evolved into a CGDCT anime...hell, I didn't even know that was a term💀

as of itself, it was enjoyable, but okay at best. I will give it a 7/10

the last few weeks were a wild ride. reading the manga beforehand doesn't help when u get scenes like Kana fallen like Ai. gotta catch up to the manga real quick.

but this season's ending was definitely a great plot twist, the rise of Ruby's revenge and Aqua's mistake. also father's reveal.

10/10 Anime Season.

but really…this anime is something else. I binge-watched up to episode 9, and with the cruel and carefree villains doing atrocities like playing a game (I mean, they're...still...), it builds up the tremendous wish within to absolutely decimate them.

and it delivers—but not the way you want, though. Did the MC defeat them? Yeah. Did they get stuck forever in an eternal 'loading map' prison? Yeah. But was it satisfying? Hell no. I know they're suffering, but lemme see their suffering on screen, PLEASE. I deserve it after witnessing their atrocities.

The same goes for the happy endings. Did Ru came back? yup. did she remember anything? Nope.

you see where this is going? We are getting the desired result but are denied the satisfaction.

not to say the boss' death kinda took me aback.

and this tho, I think is kinda intentional, realistic yet story-like. and fucking funny. I could be reading too much into it...but what do you think?
