Dear TSR Creators,

Due to TSR’s reaction to this current situation, I will at this time halt reblogs that lead to a TSR download, or advertise their website. I still love your CC, though, and ask you to please consider making your Tumblr posts to have an alternative download at SFS or any hosting site that is safe to use (Mega, GoogleDrive, etc.) I would love to continue to reblog all of the lovely CC, while avoiding advertising for the TSR website. My opinion of TSR soured during the time I created as a submitter for them, but this is where I have to draw the line. Thank you for understanding. If you have a CC finds blog, please consider halting your own reblogging of posts that lead to this site as well.

Don't support the creators who doxx, lie, gloss over their culpability, and suppot those who do with your hard-earned cash. You personally have the right to freedom and choice. Support and uplift like-minded folks. Don't support those who make poor moral choices.

Soooo....I'm old AF. At least, old enough to remember 2009 when the Sims2 community was imploding.

TSR was the first paysite as we've come to know it. At thst time it was run by a weasley little dude named Thomas, and good LORT was he a piece of work. Doxxing his own employees and nuking other Sims sites, because before Tumblr there were various user-created forums that ruled the community. TSR and Co. personally took down a couple of the big ones, aka SimsCave and ReflexSims (which became BlackPearlSims, and finally SimPearls as it still exists today). PMBD (Paysites Must Be Destroyed) was born out of that controversy and the movement to keep user-created cc free.

The latest in 2022 has mindfucked me a bit. Like bad deja vu. Because the game is the same and only the players are different. Chess board pieces that keep moving around. I was in my late 20s in 2009 (because yeah...old af). The game of pixels....Nothing Changes.

This is appalling. All of it.

I have a few creator friends' backs 'til the bitter end. They're not like the bullies, thieves, and cutthroats out there doing their shady shit. They know how to mesh. They offer early access. They don't resort to dickish tactics to keep patrons around.

The one thing I urge folks to do is not get caught up. Support those who create solid content, and don't lump all Patreon creators into the same ugly box. My personal belief is that most truly are awesome people either trying to make a living or simply loving the game.

This is Annie. She bugged out in her household. Nobody could interact with her, and she just stood in place for hours collecting dirt. I ended up leaving the game, but haven’t gone back in to see if she’s still stuck in her state of stinky-melancholia.

Dear Followers!

Today has been a terrible day in the World history. 💔

I woke up to hear the news about the Russian invasion in Ukraine. But people in Ukraine wole up to the sound of explosions and sirens.

The situation has been bad for a long a while, but it really shocked me to watch the violent military actions that Putin has commanded.

The Ukrainian President Zalenskyy quotes: “Russia treacherously attacked our state in the morning, as Nazi Germany did in #2WW years. As of today, our countries are on different sides of world history. Russia has embarked on a path of evil, but Ukraine is defending itself & won’t give up its freedom no matter what Moscow thinks.”

—And this is so important, to keep fighting for freedom! —

I consider freedom and independence as a human right, unfortunately we take it for granted when we have it - but there are people out there fighting just to keep their own independent state.

And.. there are people right at this moment, who are escaping from military attacks, missils and armed solidiers.

We need to support these civilians, whose home and country are being bombed and ruined. Kids, elders, families who can’t be safe in their own home. 🥲

This is the Ukraine National Embled and the Ukraine Flag in different editions.

These are the first 2 items I made exclusive, because I want to donate the money I get from it to the Ukraine people, who at the moment are refugees, forced to seek safety beyond borders. Every single penny will be donated and I will put in one dollar myself for each donation.

If you just want to support Ukraine, and show that you care about the Ukraine People, please just share this post so as many as possible will be aware of the horrible situation.

If you are looking for an emergency exit from Ukraine, Poland will open EIGHT safety points on the border with Ukraine (you will get warm food, medical help and from there you will be guided to safety) in two of our voivodeships: lubuskie and podkarpackie. It is confirmed by the Polish Secretary of State in the Chancellery of the Prime Minister, Paweł Szefernaker.

You again missed the whole point and managed to make this situation all about yourself, so I’m going to assure your stupid ass - this war is not going to affect you in any way, but you know who it’s going to affect? Actual people from Ukraine, who are going to lose their lives and be displaced from their homes, just like for the past 8 years.
