Major developments are happening over at AD4L. One such development is that we're going to be opening a Patreon account! You guys, the viewers, will be able to openly support the projects we're working on.

That’s right, gang! AnimeDubs4Life is working on an entry for TeamFourStar’s #TIBA contest! For the contest, the team has been hard at work secretly creating a short abridged one-off of the recent anime adaptation of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney.

Given the short time frame of the contest, the video will be out before the end of the month. This we can guarantee! So to celebrate, here’s a brief snippet of the opening sequence to give you all an idea of what’s in store!

Briefly mentioned during our most recent Update Video, AD4L is currently writing and producing a new parody series based on the Kingdom Hearts franchise. The series is being headed by myself and also features my colleague ilikethecoke as the series writer.

Recruiting New Talent Very Soon!

Hey gang, Haruka here! Going to be making a quick update on here for anyone interested. We don’t have an exact date, but we may be opening our doors to new talent very soon!

At the moment, I’m currently scouting for Voice Actors/Actresses and Video Editors to help us produce new content for the channel. So if you’re looking to  get your start into voice acting or anything of the sort and would like to work with a group of really friendly people, your chance may be coming soon! More information will be out sometime, so stay tuned for more info!

AGSM Episodes 2 and 3 Are Back Up!

Good news, everyone! Episodes 2 and 3 of AGSM are back up. Toei didn’t respond to the counter-notification we sent them, allowing both episodes to go back up.

Questions 1. In "The Enchanted Parody", why was Jasminka voiced with a Manly Russian accent? (I know she was Russian in the real thing) 2. Why was the little German tech witch (Constanze) called "Billy"? 3. For AGSM, will Sailor Jupiter be voiced in a Tough, tomboyish accent? (Like, I don't know, Buttercup?) 4. Is episode 4 almost done or not quite yet? 5. Are eps 5-6 in production? Thank you and have a nice day

To answer both Questions 1 and 2, I basically went about characterizing the three new characters from Enchanted Parade as massively stereotyped versions of the nationalities they represented.

Amanda and Jasminka were both intentionally made to be as unrealistically Irish/Russian as possible; that being the whole joke. Constanze was named Billy as a joke to her full name being very difficult to pronounce, so we just decided to call her Billy as a reflection of that. Though you can very carefully hear the Headmistress make reference to her real name in the scene where the girls are introduced on the projector screen.

As for AGSM, we don’t wanna reveal any details about how Makoto/Jupiter is gonna be characterized/voiced. It’d ruin the surprise, so you’ll have to wait til her debut episode, which’ll be around Episode 9. As for Episode 4, we still have a ways to go concerning editing, we’re really working to make it as good as we can and we apologize for the long wait.

Episodes 5-6 will start editing after Episode 4 is done.

I was wondering.... Will there ever be a second season of AGSM once episodes 4-6 are out in the future? (As in episodes 7-12. Y'know with sailor Jupiter, sailor Venus and Artemis!)

AGSM Episode 4 Update

Hey gang, Haruka here with a short update concerning Episode 4 of Abridged Guardian Sailor Moon. Just letting you all know first off, editing is going slowly but surely for Episode 4.

The editing process for the episode is taking a lot longer than usual because of the jump to Premiere Pro CC and just the fact that was burnt out from the amount of content I put out for the channel last year. As a result, I’ve been taking much longer breaks to help get my creative juices going again.

On the side of editing, the scripts for both Eat Your Soul Out! and Kill la Kill: The True Lives of the Fabulous Kiryuins have been going tremendously well and I eagerly await the production for both one-offs!

So as you can see, I’ve got a lot on my plate, so as of this posting, I have to state that we will no longer be announcing when episodes of AGSM will be released. They’ll just come at our own pace, but I CAN confirm that we’ll at least have videos uploaded every month to the channel.

With that said, thank you for reading and I hope you guys enjoy the episode whenever it comes out!
