The Rainbow after the Rainfall

The sky is angry

He is filled of grey angry clouds,

with lightning striking down on earth.

As if the sky was attacking the earth

The taste of dampness and of the ocean

where the water had come from

And smells of burning trees

who had been struck by lightning

One could hear the fighting,

the argument between the sky and the earth,

the lightning bouncing from tree to tree

The earth is frightened

Time passes and the sky seems to calm down

He sends away his dark gray angry clouds,

and calls back his fluffy white friendly clouds.

He brings a new friend,

named Rainbow,

colored red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet

The is a new taste in the air now

one of fresh new crispy air

There are new sounds in the air,

no more booming or fight,

there is now birds singing a new melody in the air,

singing around the rainbow

The earth is now at peace and feels calms
