hey🤫psst yeah you! wanna stop Congress from criminalizing and shutting down pro-Palestine, pro-Black and pro-LGBTQ organizations and student groups? i got you. Congress is voting Monday 11/18👀

the tl;dr is that HR 9495 would give the government the ability to brand nonprofits, student orgs and other groups as criminal “terror” orgs. Congress voted it down once narrowly but are trying to ram it through again. more on that⤵️

why nonprofits? because whether it's Palestine or Stop Cop City national nonprofits have the resources to launch lawsuits for human rights violations. and because student groups shaken shit up.

what can we do? we’re gonna go and sign the petitions (literally just like two minutes)

next we’re gonna post about it on our socials and light up those Congressional phone lines like it’s a hallmark holiday movie.

lindt is being sued in a class action in the united states because they are one of MANY brands of chocolate that tested high for heavy metals. and this is despite lindt claiming their chocolate is "expertly crafted with the finest ingredients". no recall was issued after the tests came out. lead and cadmium can fuck the body over BAD.

lindt's genius defense is that they are going to stop saying the whole thing about being expertly crafted with the finest ingredients, so nobody can complain about the heavy metals in their chocolate anymore! and that makes it okay. source: trust me bro
