hey man i don't usually post about drama but the one thing i can confirm is that tommy doesn't treat us like a "sweatshop" lmao

we have always been paid fairly and there are enough of us that even at the height of us all being busy editing for him during the nyc vlogs, we had as much time as we wanted to recuperate (because we got to choose when we would be put in to edit a video)

saying that he would have stans edit videos for free is crazy as well. idk if what dream is saying happened before my time, but as far as i'm aware tommy has always paid his editors very fairly, and my personal experience is that editing for tommy is the only time that i was "paid minimum wage" for editing - because everything else i edited literally didn't make enough money to do that.

lol i havent posted in like 2 years on youtube

currently my nose is shoved against the grindstone with med school, but im doing a bunch of stuff with friends that i find fun (like dnd) and irl (clubs and whatnot). also got a girlfriend lol

idk if or when i'll return to youtube tbh, i've had ideas but never done much more than that, and the longer i stay away the more i feel like it'd need to be a really good video. and i dont think i have any ideas for something that good just yet :p

FOOD

Find your nearest food bank or mission, for food

grocery stores with free samples, bakeries + stores with day-old bread

different fast food outlets have cheaper food and will generally let you hang out for a while.

some dollar stores carry food like cans of beans or fruit

SHELTER

Sleeping at beaches during the day is a good way to avoid suspicion and harassment

sleep with your bag strapped to you, so someone can’t steal it

Some churches offer short term residence

Find your nearest homeless shelter

Look for places that are open to the public

A large dumpster near a wall can often be moved so that flipping up the lids creates an angled shelter to stay dry

HYGIENE

A membership to the YMCA is usually only 10$, which has a shower, and sometimes laundry machines and lockers.

Public libraries have bathrooms you can use

Dollar stores carry low-end soaps and deodorant etc.

Wet wipes are all purpose and a life saver

Local beaches, go for a quick swim

Some truck stops have showers you can pay for

Staying clean is the best way to prevent disease, and potentially get a job to get back on your feet
