Much as its probably a home to spiders and mice now, this stove right must have seen alot of fine dishes go through it. Quality Metal lasts guys, always remember that especially when buying your next cookware.

I made some interesting observations about Copper pans today.
While its obvious that the latter picture represents the newer more modern copper pans it might not be that obvious to tell how hardy the older copper pans were. Infact, its almost as if the element copper has lost part of its density if you weigh the differently aged pans together, yet they appear abit similar in size.
The newer, lighter pans may be well suited for saute-ing but that is about as much value as it can give over the older pans that must have been built with lifespan in mind.
In your spare time you could use this link to have a look at reviews of some of the newer copper pans.

Seeing this, one can’t help but wonder what it was like in the kitchen some ages ago. Without all the stovetops and fancy cookware. When communities would get together in the evening to share their catch as they bonded over the fireplace.
