genuine question. do you think the little prince is non-binary.

because he’s an alien; it rlly doesn’t make any sense for him to have idea of what gender is; right? anyway love ur blog

i love this question actually because one time my dad asked me if i ever considered how a genderswapped version of the little prince would go (with the lp as a princess instead of a prince) and my answer was that it wouldn’t really matter because all characters in the story except maybe the aviator aren’t really people, they’re more like constructs of specific roles we have in society, the little prince represents children and he’s not a little boy, he’s a little kid so making him a girl wouldn’t matter at all

all that to say Yes and that i believe he’s more agender than nonbinary (even though agender also falls under that umbrella) because other than being an alien he’s also a concept of a child and he just Happens to look like a little boy and answer to masculine terms and pronouns

never really put this here but This One Scene from the little prince 2015 has haunted me for almost four years. so much so i wrote an entire fanfic about it.

the thought of the little prince in the girls situation but having No One there to help him hurts my heart so much, like the main reason why the little girl escaped was because the fox and mr prince were there. the little prince had NO ONE WITH HIM

and adding the fact that the businessman was keeping the stars in a glass dome??? and my hc that the lp is made out of stars making him connected to them?????

and mr prince. oblivious, anxious, scared mr prince. to think they made a boy so small into an adult so anxious while erasing his memories of Being the little prince feels like needles being slowly pushed deep into my chest

i am very normal about this scene. as you can see.
