for artists who don't have self confidence: it's okay if your art doesn't look good!! Art is a learning process and it will take time to get good at new things. All that matters is the effort you put into your work.

same goes for trying a whole ton of new things! all you have to do is try!

a wise man once said to me "It's better to try something new and look like a fool instead of waiting for confidence that will not appear at the right moment. You are trying, and effort is all that matters. Don't pay attention to the cowards who wait for confidence to come before they act. Waiting for confidence will set you back further than you might think.Just do it and see how it goes. You may make mistakes, but that's part of life. Start taking chances without confidence. Eventually, you'll be able to believe in yourself more and more."

InoArts° Introduction! <3

Hello loves! My online name is Inori, which is Japanese for "Prayer", according to Google Translate. This introduction is a late, but better now than never! (The ° sign doesn't mean anything in particular. I just thought it was a fun thing to put at the end of my blog name.)

I love art.

That's basically it, hah! I am an art-obsessed teenager, who has a deep passion for making an unhealthy amount of characters and procrastinates to music far too often.

I also really enjoy writing! I am currently in the process of plotting a webcomic.

Some random facts about me as a person!

My favorite food is steak and biscuits! (Waffles too!)

Acquiring into Eastern Christian Orthodox! Glory to God!

I love coffee from local café's! (Better than Starbucks or Caribou, fight me)

I'm homeschooled! I am a bit of a weird child

Absolutely broken sense of humor...

I enjoy taking walks and being outside. I'd take a hikes everyday and spend my weekends camping if i could.

I LOVE meat! From ground beef to venison, I'd eat it all in a heartbeat! I resent vegetables and avoid them as much as possible. I fast often when i can <3

About My Art...

I do not mind if my art is saved, reposted, or even straight-up stolen! This is the internet, and things like that is expected to happen.

In fact, if i found out my art had been stolen and somebody else took credit, I would be honored! It means that i've grown and that other people enjoy my ideas and creativity. That is enough for me... I'd just be glad to make somebody happy!

Random bursts of energy come and go. Art style is always going all over the place! Probably will be for a long long time!

Anyways, I think this is good enough for an introduction!

original character design i'm working on!

His name is Cyfrin Underwood, 19

his name (according to Google) means "Sorcerer" in Welsh

He is from snowy mountain climate and prefers to be warmer than cold, so he'll rarely take off his cloak even in hot hot weather. Owl feathers and beads are a common part of his culture.

He's a sarcastic man. He loves to make jokes regardless of the situation or mood! Cyfrin has a big heart of gold and will always put others before himself even if it'll cost him his life. To him, family and friends mean everything.

He is the youngest son and is the only one in the family who posses knowledge/ability to spell-cast. He works as a part-time receptionist at the Underwood family Inn, but he loves to explore and wander in his spare time. His abilities are kept hidden from most people, even his own father.

His biggest fears are spiders and not enough hot water for long baths after a long day!

i often use Gacha Club to create references for my OCs! It's pretty simple and you can always change some of the designs as you go. Definitely recommend it for brainstorming brand-new characters!
