I just watched Adolescence (the mini serie on Netflix) and I want to say : 1) The camera work is amazing, it's crazy that it's all in one shot ! (The whole 1st episode I was like "Where do they cut ? Did they fake cut ? They can't have done all this without cutting ??? NO WAY ! ") It's an incredible idea, because we really feel present, living the moment with the characters. No dramatic angles, no cuts, no music... Props to everyone, on and behind the screen. 2) The acting is absolutely phenomenal !! Every character felt so real ! And the one-shot format must have been difficult, but everyone nailed it ! 3) The story itself was great, but I adore how many subjects it touched ! The affect of social media on young kids, bullying, misogyny, and how losing someone affects people : like Jade losing Katie, her only best friend, but also the Millers losing their son and feeling lost, confused, angry, sad.... I definitely missed things, so I'm gonna check some analysis !

One day I'm watching her crying while reading/playing as Spork in the latest "Acting out your fanfics", and the next one I'm watching her playing an evil and "disguting" Troll / stepmother.

I just watched The Electric State (didn't know it was a book adaptation), and I sooooo thought Mr Peanut was going to be a twist vilain (probably bc of the french dub, I really felt uneasy, when he was explainning the mall for example) but I'm glad he wasn't.

I didn't know he was/is an actual thing, like in our world ?? Also I really liked his design idk why (to be fair I loved 95% of the robots design). Like the magician robot was DOPE.

Like, the playground + Sun + Moon coming back so suddenly... I feel like we are getting them next episode.

I noticed that on the Ragatha cardigan, there's a knife patch over the heart, which reminded me of how she was stabbed through the heart in her pins too. It could be a reference to the second episode, but I find it weird. Why not... Idk... Tea? I may be over thinking it.

Thanos was (accidentally?) collecting queer people instead of infinity stones.

Hear me out on this : Nam-gyu = gay, Gyeong-su = bi or pan and demi, Se-mi = lesbian and finally Min-su = bi + ace.

And I could see Thanos as pan.

I have been thinking a bit about how in Squid Game some people are chosen and then recruited as players. Do they pick certain people on purpose to create conflicts within the players ? Like for entertainment. Exemple 1 : Deok-su (101) and Sae-byeok (067) : they were from the same gang (/organization?) Exemple 2 : Myung-gi (333) who is the reason a few players got in debt (Thanos, Nam-SuGyu, Jun-Hee...) Bonus : The married couple and the mom and son duo, for more drama.

They always do research on the players, they could have went Dude 1 : "Oh this dude caused so many debts... Let's get him and a bunch of people who will want his de@th, the VIP will love that" Dude 2 : "Nah, let's wait a few years, this year's theme is 'street gangs'"

It may be an unpopular opinion... But I despise the way some people make fanarts of the doctor and completly decharacterize him.

I have seen a lot of "babygirl-ification" over the years, but this is next level (to me at least)

No, he doesn't like Yarnaby and treat him like a dog (in a positive way, like "good boy"). He saw him (?) as a thing to exploit and not a kid turned into a monster.

No, he doesn't like the player, and certainely not in a shipping way. He see "us" as another experiment.

Doctor Harley Sawyer is a horrible person who had no regrets about everything he had done : taking kids, experimenting on their body again, and again, and AGAIN, and using them as mindless things when they survive.

Like PLEASE y'all are super skilled and talented !! 😭 There's so much potential with all the others characters in this game...

I just watched Cunk on Life. I liked, but ... like ... mostly the first half.

Now, I liked a lot of jokes, don't get me wrong! Diane Morgane is phenomenal. I don't like hating on it because so many people worked hard on this film, and I understand that they may have wanted to go somewhere different but it felt weird. Is it just me ? Like the Streamberry and the short puppet show ? Like the absolutely unnecessary §eX scene in the middle of the Big Bang dude backstory ? Like Philomena roasting the sound tech guy (and kinda pushing him into offing himself and basically threatenning the next one to the same fate) ? Like the way she was super mean to Van Gogh's painting. (I don't remember her being THIS mean, even to Will I Am Shakespear)

On the other hand, I'm glad we got Pump up the Jam back, as well as the mentions of her mate Paul, aunt Carol and Sean (the ex) ! My favorite joke was "Every life form is made of cells. Like a prison. Which is probably why existence is so depressing. It's a life sentence." (And Philomena being repulsed by §eX)

Does anyone else wonder how THIS

ended up happening ?

Like... How did Salo managed to find the commune ? In a wheelchair ? Did he get someone to go with him ? And how did the conversation went ???? Bc I don't think that Salo and Viktor liked each others that much before... 💀 (they probably hated each other, who knows?)

And the meeting must have been no awkward.

Like : Salo, ex-council member, is in such a bad health state that he goes to a mysterious undercity healer... And turns out that said healer is someone he looked down on (although he was one of the reasons for Piltover's great development) (and was in a very bad health state too, but is now Jesus/God).

Its also crazy that : 1) Viktor accepted to heal Salo 2) Salo accepted to be healed by Viktor
