Julien's Letter:

Dear Daphne,

I miss you so much. This separation has been much harder than I ever imagined. I miss you stopping by the palace after rehearsals or me going to yours on the weekends. I miss talking to you on the phone for hours about nothing. I miss knowing about your daily life.

Speaking of, how are things at home? Is Katrya settling in? Does she love ballet school? Have they said anything about Anatoly? How's school and ballet going for you? Sofia isn't still messing with you, is she?

I'm afraid I don't have any good news for you. I said I would get phone privileges after being here a month, but those just got revoked. Master Sergeant Jones is still determined to make my life miserable here. I didn't respond to his question fast enough and got told off. I was stupid and talked back, so I can't use the phone for another month as punishment. It doesn't exactly fit the crime, but he's made it clear that he doesn't care about my opinions. He and my father would get along great.

Anyway, I never thought I would be so happy to have royal duties coming up. My father's Jubilee couldn't be better timed. A whole week away from The Academy. Master Sergeant Jones is pissed that I'm getting special permission for all these royal events, but there is nothing he can do about it. It's so funny. Anyway, I can't wait to see you again. Is it corny to say I'm counting down the days?
