I’ve begun to gather the materials for the second batch and am in the slow-going process of finalizing everything that needs to be done for their arrival, so it seems that regardless of the final poll results, you will be meeting the classes of 2024 and 2022 very soon! If anyone has opinions on who they want to see first, I’d be happy to take that into account.

i really prefer actor fcs so i was wondering if you had any actor suggestions for lily's fc? i would prefer for her not to be adopted if that's okay. thank you!

Under those distinctions, I could see Grace Van Dien, Sarah Desjardins, Emma Mackey, and Melis Sezen working for Lily. Each actress has at least one gif hunt that I could find, but if none are the right fit for your interpretation, please message me with suggestions of your own and we can work on it from there.

Hi! I am SO SO IN LOVE with opal! just wondering, why did she leave? Would it be up to the writer? And does she and her brother have canon parents?

Hello, I’m so happy to hear that! Opal could always do with a little more love. As for the reason behind her running away, that is completely in your hands. The only concrete details about the Dawsons is that they’re a rich, muggle family who aren’t as attentive (to their children or in general) as they should be. You could always play with the boundaries of that information and maybe add in an extended family member from canon or something like it, but their parents are decidedly non-magical.

wait sorry im a little confused - is michael thomas unplayable?

Certain characters like Oswin, Love, and Michael were included within this batch’s connections due to the significance of their relationships with these characters. They’re currently locked, meaning that they will be released among the second batch. However, the timing of when they’ll be released is still up to question due to the active poll. Hope that clears up any confusion, love!

Happy late afternoon, everyone! I’ve been doing some thinking and I’ve created a POLL regarding the assimilation of the second batch of characters. If the majority answers yes, I will begin posting the skeletons for the second batch over the next week and they will feature in the opening acceptances. If majority answers no, the skeletons will be available for applications once the current batch graduates and leaves Hogwarts. The poll also acts as a measure of interest in the group, so if you’re planning to apply, please engage with it.

who are you planning to play in the second batch?

James Potter! I’m very excited to reprise his role within this setting, around these characters. Funnily enough, I was just debating with myself over when I should post the sample app, but I’d like to wait for Lily’s future player to take the lead on family dynamics so that nothing I wrote blocked their interpretation.

Not necessarily! If you find a face claim that you prefer over the original and run it by me, I wouldn’t accept or deny the change based on whether or not they’re a model. The only bar is that you and I both agree that they fit the character.

i really really like the concept (and the aesthetic tbh!!) of the rp but i sadly didn't connect with any of the current skeletons. i know it's too early, but i have to ask. do you know when will the next batch be posted?

I’m so sorry to hear that! I’m in the exact same boat with finding a muse to play in this first batch so my own character will be introduced in the second. The actual ETA of the second batch depends on when we open for writing, but after the group gets settled I won’t make either of us wait too long. In fact, I was toying with the idea of having multiple settings from the very start so that the older characters would be included sooner, and if I went with that idea, the skeletons would be posted throughout the next two weeks. However, I’m unsure if that’s something that would be popular with potential applicants, so if anyone has a strong opinion on the topic, please let me know!

are the characters in hogwarts or have they graduated?

Sorry if this wasn’t too clear before, but the characters are currently in their last term at Hogwarts. When the time comes for them to graduate, we’ll move the setting out of Hogwarts and the second batch of characters will be introduced.

I would suggest Nancy Schneider in Jacolijn’s place, although if you wanted to go the adopted route, Reina Hardesty, Mara Kasanpawiro, and Urassaya Sperbund would be good alternates!

I’ve slowly started to fill out the inspo blog for my own fun, but if any of you are looking for more depth on the characters, those posts should offer some vague insight! I’ve also included some characters from the second batch because I couldn’t help myself.
