I don’t remember which filters I had set for this, if any, but I’m DEAD at the page count.

They do a bit but I’ve also been developing a theory. You know how the older a person is the less likely they are to adapt to new technologies and the longer it takes them to get the hang of it? Crowley and Az are like 6000+ years old and that’s just on this planet, to say nothing of their existence before. No wonder it’s taking them so long to adapt to modern technology when the telephone has barely been around for like 120 years.
if you read the thing can you tell me if it's explained why they don't use technology

The first time I heard Purple Haze, I thought the lyric was “‘Scuse me while I kiss this guy.”
That’s all.

Having watched Good Omens about six thousand times this week made going to the coffee shop and ordering my usual feel very…on brand, as it were.
(A heartbreaker latte with a soul kitchen everything bagel. I mean HONESTLY)

"Smote" and "smitten" are both tenses of "smite." The direct past tense is "smote" and “smitten” is the past participle. So it'd be like this: "I will smite you." "I smote you yesterday." "I have smitten you before." That said, in this scene, "smitten" is the correct form of the verb AND is just a lovely bit of fun wordplay and delicious acting from Michael Sheen because he is, in fact, smitten.
"Smitten"
Hang on just a second, isn't the past tense for 'Smite', 'Smote'?! Surely the Angel knows this?
My guess would be, that Aziraphale saw a chance and took it. He's smitten with the fallen Angel. Look at his wee face. 😍

Isn’t S2 the sequel in which Gabriel is important? His amnesia is basically the plot of the whole season, figuring out why he’s there and what’s going on with him, and also setting up the fact that Heaven really can’t control anybody, they just pretend that they can when in reality they have quite a handful of “institutional problems.”
And S2 sets up The Big One that will come next. Without Gabriel stepping down/being fired as Supreme Archangel, Az would never have gotten that promotion and gone back Up.
Okay, wait, hold up...
IIRC Gabriel was made a character in Good Omens S1 to have him be established for adapting/making the unwritten sequel, because he was meant to have a bigger/important there.
But now he's been written out of the show pretty much entirely?

Ok all I’m going to say is this because it’s started to cause problems in fics now:
The English language subtitles in Amazon Prime are full of errors for most of episodes 4, 5, and 6 of Good Omens 2.
If anybody wants to know what they’re actually saying, please DM me and we’ll figure something out.

Can’t relate.
the thing about watching hannibal is that yes i do enjoy watching them gaslight each other and i do love the weird serial killer flirting but i also love will very much and want to get him the fuck away from hannibal and to a doctor that won't lie to him about his encephalitis or frame him for murder
