Welcome to the Amateur Hour Zine's Tumblr blog! Here's an intro post to help answer some questions you might have for us 🌟

What is Amateur Hour?

AH is a non-profit, non-fandom zine meant to give inexperienced artists a low-stress opportunity to participate in zines, as well as create a portfolio piece made from the heart!

Our themes are "Time" and "Love of the Craft", where contributors create an original work based off of one or both of those themes. They are open-ended to give as much creative freedom as possible!

Who can participate?

Anyone who applies! Artists, writers, and musicians are all welcome! All skill levels and backgrounds are encouraged to apply. Beginners, experienced artists, digital, traditional, poetry, prose, instrumental, lyrical, etc!

If you want to participate, then we would love to work with you 💕

One last thing before you go, friend! AH believes in uplifting and supporting our neighbors, so we would love it if you took a look at Project HOPE's website.
