When we talk about how terrible the Buckley parents are, I feel like most of the time people are just looking at the neglect part of it all. Which, yes, that alone makes them terrible parents, but nobody mentions how new born Buck had to be subjected to multiple medical procedures, so they could take parts of him and give it to Daniel. A fucking baby going through all that, only to be set aside when said parts failed to save his brother. It’s so twisted, I will never forgive the show for giving them redemption arc.

Reasons why I’m not hopping out of the BobbyIsAlive train anytime soon:
1. Oliver and JLH ‘leaked’ script
2. Oliver posting a photo of Brad Torrence after the filming of Bobby’s funeral
3. Oliver choosing to admit to lying for promo in particular during a Q&A that lasted 5 secs long
4. Oliver only responding with 😃 to comments about Bobby dying before the episode.
5. Oliver referencing WOK on his tribute post conveniently lining up with Tim M. mentioning WOK on an interview.
Idk how I got to this point of entrusting my sanity to ostark but here we are. I just have to prepare myself for the meltdown of the century if Bobby is actually gone.

Tim Minear mentioned in one interview that the hotshots fan who they helped stop from jumping, who was going “you can’t kill off Brad” blah blah was supposed to mirror us, the 911 fans. Ok, so for the next 2 weeks I elected to believe that just like Brad who came out of his coma by the end of the episode, Bobby will also come back to life.

i can’t move on from Oliver and Peter’s acting here. All you have to do is look at both their eyes and you’d feel how painful this situation is. My chest tightens everytime I see this.

Forgot I live in Asia and Bobby actually died on Good Friday here, which is crazy. Anyway, the priests’ homily was about ‘death’ and ‘letting go’ and my god I haven’t had a homily affect me this much recently and it’s all over a fictional character. I feel pathetic.

no matter what you do, don’t think about Buck, who after losing the only person who ever treated him like his son, has to come home to an empty house, completely falling apart, but with nobody there to pick up the pieces.

I don’t even have the words for this episode. I’m just genuinely upset that Tim Minear thought killing Bobby off is a great creative decision.

went over to imdb and ngl this is so sad to see. I understand some people are frustrated over Eddie’s SL but this episode does not deserve a 1 star over that. anyway, if you enjoy the episode and you have time to review, go show it some love.

Ok, Buddie 8x15 theory:
So Eddie finally gets through Buck, after trying to reach him the entire day. Buck answers the call with a shaky ‘Eddie’ and he knew right away something is very wrong.
He says ‘tell me what’s wrong’ and Buck finally breaks and he’s trying to explain everything but he’s clearly hyperventilating and Eddie could hear it turning to a full blown panic attack.
We get a similar scene to the one with Gerard where Buck was sort of disassociating and through all the muddled noise Buck finally hears Eddie telling him to ‘breathe’ and so he does.
Just as Eddie managed to calm Buck down, there’s a voice on the radio saying they found Captain Nash’s body. Buck goes ‘what do you mean body?’ and all the response he got was ‘i’m sorry firefighter’ and we get the shot of Buck absolutely losing it, and it cuts to Eddie in texas, hands shaking and eyes bloodshot, listening to Buck’s painful sobs through the phone.
#of course athena is losing it too#someone finally gets maddie off the 911 call but not after finding out that the antidote is working for chim#911 abc#buddie#evan buckley#eddie diaz#911 theories
