Random MK1 Headcanons

I'm legit so brain empty rn. Even my requests ain't giving me inspiration or motivation fr. But because I do not want this acc to die, here are random headcanons for random MK1 characters :D. Don't take these too seriously btw.

Kenshi growing up in the Yakuza means he knows random ass creepy facts about death. The Earthrealm guys will be watching a horror movie and he's like "this is so unrealistic. There's not enough air in that box! He should be dead by now!”

Everytime Liu Kang tries to lecture his champions about doing smth stupid, they're like "well you made us like this, so whose fault is it?”

Mileena still feels awful about what she did to Kenshi, so she's overly hospitable to him when him and the gang visit

"You want some water?" "I'm alright" "Okay. There's food made" "Oh, thank you!" "Yeah! Uhh I bought a phone charger for you. I don't even know what a phone is but I bought it for you" "You didn't have to do that" "I did your taxes" "What?”

Johnny definitely took the Outworld gang to see a movie. "Oh, when would they find the time?" don't question me

Mileena hates werewolf movies because it reminds her of herself. Yeah, she doesn't turn into a dog, but she can't control that monstrous part of herself

Baraka definitely had a few words for Liu Kang when he found out that Liu Kang chose to make Tarkat a disease

Kitana and Mileena were probably shocked when they found out about their lives in the previous timelines. Them bitches stayed squabbling.

Kitana Chronicles Alternia 12: Something in you

Kitana prepares for the ascension ceremony in her chambers assisted by chamber maids and watched over by her Echoes. A knock at her door requests her acknowledgement.

“Come in.” She answers aloud.

The door is opened by an Edenian Knight who allows Sonya to enter before closing the door behind her… Kitana can tell something is on her friend’s mind. She wishes her maidens away and welcomes Sonya to have a seat on the ottoman next to her.

“You seem troubled, Sonya.” “I am. Mileena has forcefully occupied Shang Tsung’s Island, your island, in earth realm. They have something planned and if they are allowed to occupy and fortify the island, special forces won’t be enough to take the island back.” “You have support from Edenian forces and the Lin Kuei with the Shirairyu.” Kitana reassures. “I know, I know, but sometimes force isn’t the answer. I’d like get in and not only take the armaments they have from the black dragon, but also take down Kano; whose overseeing the occupation, and close that portal outworld has on that island.” “Ok, what do you need?” “Stealth. I want to lead a small team in to take care of the objectives and then move out.” Sonya explains firmly.

Kitana smiles and nods slowly. Sonya can tell there is a doubt or worry on her mind.

“What’s with that look? She giggles. "It’s nothing, really… Cassie can lead it.” “No, I have her in a position already. I can still kick ass.” “No, I know Sonya… Look, you and I have had many battles over the last 50 years and I consider you one of my dearest friends, enough to call you my sister. We’ve saved each other’s lives on many occasions. If I could overlook reality, I would, but you’re older. You don’t move the same and I can see you strain sometimes… Please sit this out. Take your position as a commander and let your warriors fight the battles.” Kitana admits. “Come on, you too? I’m sick and tired of everyone acting as if I’m some helpless old woman.” Sonya complains. “That is not my intention and you know I mean well… All of us.” “If You mean well, then you wouldn’t tear me down. You’d let me feel alive and you’d have my back.” Sonya stands up. “I will always have your back, you are my sister. I’d rather see you as an old woman than a broken bodied, stubborn, old bird.”

Sonya chuckles. Kitana does too…

“This will be my last mission. I promise. Let me take down Kano, and I swear you won’t have to worry about me on the field again. I’ll even retire… I need your support on this last one, Kitana. Please…”

Kitana smiles and nods in reluctant agreement. She has well placed confidence in her sister, Sonya, as well as her Echoes. She just wants it over…

Kitana is laid a top a stone table. Lin and Revakia stand off too the side but out of the way. Kuai Liang is by her side standing beside the table. They comfort each other silently knowing something has to be said.

“I love you, my king.” “You still love an old fool like me?” “Always have and always will… I am sorry for what I said.” Kitana apologizes. “You need not say the words, my queen.”

They share a passionate kiss. Argus steps up letting them know that the time to begin has arrived. Kuai Liang steps back and stands next to Bo Rai Cho. Argus stands at the head of the table placing each of his hands at her temples.

“What is he going to do?” Kuai asks Bo. “He will project her soul and consciousness to the realm of souls. There she will have an undetermined amount of time to find her father and receive the Edenian Lifeforce from him.” Bo answers. “And if she cannot find him before the time limit?” “She will have to try again but if she does so in succession, the souls in that realm will be sensitive to a living body and try to take it.” “I don’t like this.” Kuai admits.

Argus chants a recurring rhyme of enchantments as his hands glow. Kitana quickly fades into a coma like sleep… She is standing in complete darkness. No sound, no light, no one… She can only hear her breathing and foot steps. Suddenly after a few minutes of wondering around the darkness she feels a sharp pain in her back, abdomen, and hips. So much pain it forces her to bend and kneel. She slowly returns to the living realm. Still in excruciating pain she can barely keep her eyes open enough to look around. What she does see is a dingy, worn down Dungeon. She is not on the stone table anymore but strung up on a metal table that is tilted at an angle enough to support her. Not ignoring the pain she is suffering from, she looks down to find her unborn child has been ripped from her body. Blood has pooled below her and soaked her dress… She can only scream in agony…
