This is my dad. Volodymyr Torbynsky, who died on January 15, 2025. He was 55. He died defending Ukraine from russian invaders. russians killed him. Please, remember him. He is a hero.

Hi. Today is my dad's birthday

He has been missing for almost a year now. Do you have any idea how much fun it is to have a dream every week where you and your family are having dinner and your dad is back to you

And then to wake up knowing you don't even know if he's alive

How does it feel to still have your birthday present for him that he didn't manage to pick up from the post office because it came 12 hours after he disappeared.

And special thanks goes to International Red Cross, who I QUOTE "choose action, not sides"

They have all time in the world to send my family "Marry Christmas" message and complain that russian POWs are not satisfied with mattresses.

But cannot answer if my dad is alive. Merry f Christmas.

Again, not "where is he" or "how is he", no, dude, my question if he is alive.

Whenever I open the news, either the families find out that their family members are alive when the Ukrainian side starts negotiations on their exchange, or the russians exеcuted pow/civilians once again.

Not a word about the Red Cross.

This "We choose actions, not sides" on the news from Syrіa looks as hypocritical as possible. Especially when there are exactly 0 mentions of russіa on the entire page. ZERO. Who was bombing Syrіa then, I wonder.

russіa does this because it wants to and can. It is an empire that must be stopped. And the best thing you can do is to support the Ukrаinian аrmy.
