I think being a parent is one of the hardest things you'll ever do, but in exchange it teaches the meaning of unconditional love.

Mengapa Aku Senang Membaca? Ialah untuk :

• Belajar membaca • Belajar menulis • Melarikan diri • Mempercayai kepercayaan • Mengetahui bahwa aku tidak sendiri • Mencari pikiran-pikiran baru • Menunggu diisi dengan pikiran-pikiran baru • Belajar untuk memahami • Membuktikan bahwa aku tetap dapat diajarkan • Memupuk keberanian • Mengerti mimpi dan mengejarnya • Berharap • Menguatkan pendapat • Jatuh cinta padamu

Tigapuluhdua

Bapak tua : Mas, mau gimana pun juga, cowok musti egois kalo urusannya udah mengenai karir, dan kau sedang berada pada rentang umur 20-35. Itu masa dimana tidur ga boleh lebih dari 4 jam, masa dimana lari harus sekenceng-kencengnya. Kadang harus tega untuk memprioritaskan di atas apapun, bahkan kadang keluarga.

Anak muda : Maksudnya jadi alien egosentris workaholik ninggalin keluarga,gitu?

Bapak tua : Ya ga segitunya juga mas. Inget basic value kita (yang entah mengapa ‘njawa banget) – keluarga selalu yang utama. Maksudnya disini, keluarga harus siap melepas dan mendukung, dan kau harus berani keluar dari lingkaran nyaman ini. Baik itu keluarga kita sekarang, atau itu keluarga kamu kelak.

Kamu ndak mau dinilai hebat karena achievement yang sudah saya capai dan apa yang saya kasih ke kamu kan?

Anak muda : (terdiam)

Lalu aku berdoa agar nafasmu tak terputus dan kebahagiaanmu memanjang.

Dari seorang Bapak tua tentang menjadi egois.

Tentu saja aku pembohong yang lihai. Pembohong paling lihai yang pernah kau temui. Tapi sayangnya, aku tidak berbohong kepadamu soal ini.

At this time of growing up, letting go is a precious skill. And self awareness is a must.

By the time I grow older, I learned that we lose people in our life. Either by death, by chance, by choice, by life path. People lose people.

Thus it’s getting tiring and tedious to meet people, to trust them again, to build relationship again, only to find out they’ll be gone.

It becomes unaffordable to emotionally attach to certain people, to share dreams or fears or even the wildest thoughts.

So you make a distance with people. You can’t trust. You become a recluse. You choose to be alone most of the times. Loneliness is affordable.

Being alone is easy, unchallenging, then you become lackadaisical. And you can finally detach yourself from everything mundane and mortal.

People lose people.

When you lost them,

They lost you too.

Recap of my 2017

This is the year of realizing. It’s not great, but okay.

With all those problem trying to strangle me up, I manage to survive.

There’s still laugh lies between the cries. There’s hope grow, between the sorrow.

For the way you're, you are someone that I will never choose. But at the same time someone I don't wanna ever lose.

I start to regret few things; including you.

Relationship has a cost. And not anyone can afford it. I am one of the poors.
