You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, smarter than you think and loved more than you’ll ever know.

“She was the reddest apple in the garden, the most tempting amongst the forbidden fruits.”
Go on, have a bite. 🍎

Why does it take watching a show or reading a book about suicide/ bullying and or someone committing suicide for people to realize that they need to be better human beings? We've been taught from a very young age to: • Always be kind to everyone. • Treat others the way you want to be treated. • Don't judge a book by its cover. • Think before you speak. • Accept people for who they are, not who you want them to be. • To always think about other people's feelings. • To always be respectful. • Always be honest. • Be genuine. • Stand up for what you believe in. • Don't be a bully and stand up for those who can't stand up for themselves. • Simply just show and give love. As humans we find ourselves unknowingly judging people without any intentions of doing so. I know you just read that and thought "I've never judged someone." Well I'm sorry to tell you that you're wrong, but you have. It's naturally just how the brain works, unless we train our minds to do differently. Don't believe me? Here's some examples: •That woman at Walmart that's wearing a shirt too small that you just laughed at and in your mind you said "she shouldn't be wearing that." She struggles with loving herself, but found the courage to wear that shirt today. You judged her. • The lady next to her that has cart full of food and is using an EBT card, but has nice shoes, a designer bag and a new car. Little did you know those groceries aren't for her, but her mother has a disability and isn't able to go shopping for herself. You judged her. • That status that you liked that your friend made on Facebook that degraded another person. That's you agreeing and you're judging that person. • That meme that you passed around that said "tag rob, he owes me a date." That "funny picture" is a real person and you just judged them. • That woman at the restaurant with her kids that are being loud and bad. She's secretly having a melt down because her husband just left her and she now has to raise her children alone. You judged her. • The lady that walks out of the hospital with pink hair and sleeves that you assumed was a "junkie" is the nurse that just saved your child's life. You judged her. • The 300 pound man at the gym that you called fat, that struggles on the treadmill used to be 500 pounds, but that doesn't matter because you automatically judged him. •The young African American man, in a nice car.. "He must be a drug dealer" right? No, he just works two jobs. You judged him. • The woman that just cut you off on accident that you flipped off and called a nasty name, just lost a loved one and didn't even realize she cut you off. You judged her. We are all different, we look different, we act different, we have different jobs, different values, different religions, different outlooks on life, different goals, different struggles, different stories. We live in a world where majority of us think that just because it's different, it means that it's wrong. Then we take it upon ourselves to point it out and make sure everyone else knows about it so they can have a part of judging it too. Who are we to do that? We might all be different, but we are also all human and we deserve to live a life that's full of love, acceptance and encouragement. It's the simple things that matter. So next time you see someone smile at them, say hello, ask them how their day is, hold the door open for them, compliment them. These things take little to no effort and could make a huge impact in someone's day. And to those negative Nancy's, next time you find yourself judging someone, bullying someone and or you're just being negative. Make sure that's who you really are and make sure that's who you want to be remembered as because words and actions can't be taken back.

It was the sound of her heart beat that brought me back to life. It made me realize that even through the darkness she would always be my light.

I feel like I live in a whole different world. Like I see things differently and feel things differently. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad thing, but it's definitely different.

I've spent the past 24 months, 730 days, 17,520 hours, 1,051,200 minutes and 63,072,000 seconds falling in love with the most beautiful woman in the world. Where has the time gone? These past two years have been a roller coaster ride of mixed emotions. No ones perfect though right? I found out early in our relationship that love isn’t just about being happy all the time. As much as we all want that fairytale love story, it's not that easy. Not all moments are filled with smiles, hugs and kisses. Love is about being with someone who understands the changes you go through and still loves you through them. Love is accepting each other's flaws even if you don't quite understand them. Love is about making sacrifices and taking chances. Love is one of the best yet worst feelings I've ever felt in my life. I know I’m not the easiest person to deal with and I applaud you for sticking around this long. I can only imagine how many times in the past 2 years you've wanted to throw your hands up and say "screw this." I can only thank you for never giving up on us, for always putting up a fight for us, for believing that we can overcome anything and everything as long as we have each other. Our relationship is about more than just being girlfriend and girlfriend, it's about being best friends, one another's biggest fan, a support system, a shoulder to cry on, someone who's there to listen when you just need someone to talk to. You are the one I look forward to coming home to after a bad day, the first person I want to see when I open my eyes. You are a one of a kind woman and I'm beyond blessed to have such a kind hearted, intelligent and passionate soulmate. You are my everything and more and I just really want to thank you for loving me through the times I couldn’t love myself, because I needed it. I love you for who you are, for who you aren’t and for who we are together. Here's to our two years and the many years to come. I love you!

Your job is to love her as she is with no expectation of her ever changing. And if she changes, love what she becomes, whether it’s what you wanted or not.
