Andor cuts to the root core of what Star Wars is about without playing up any of the tropes the franchise has become known for.

Star Wars is not about Jedi, or the Force, or pew pew, as much as we enjoy them. Star Wars is about EXPLICIT ANTI-FASCISM. And this show has exuded so week after week after week.

And that’s why Andor is simply the finest of all Star Wars media outside the movies. This is the kind of stuff George Lucas was talking about.

I cried at the beauty of a mass of people running and shouting “ONE WAY OUT”,

and then I cried when I heard the heart shattering “I cant swim”.

i cannot stop thinking about that cold, silent click that was captured in everyone’s minds the second the med tech said “i don’t want to know his name” AND ALL OF THE TRUTHS UNVEILED IN THAT SINGLE SCENE,,, god i love Andor so much. The intense depth in this series is simply amazing, not only is it great star wars but it’s also great TV. the cinematography, the writing/storytelling… it’s unparalleled. it gives me so much to just sit and think about with every episode and i love it. thank god this is 12 episodes because we wouldn’t get such rich storytelling with anything less.

i love checking out a book from the library/ putting a book on hold, knowing i probably won’t finish it or might not even crack it open, but it’s okay because it’s FREE and it supports my local library!!
