Hello! I’ve been seeing some activity on my posts lately (I’m so glad I wrote smt you all liked💕) and I just wanted to give anyone who’s curious an update, seeing as I haven’t posted here in such a long time.
I’ve been having difficulties with my health recently, so I don’t have much spare energy for writing. But I’ll be trying to get some self-indulgent daydream sequences hashed out, just to get used to writing on tumblr more frequently.
Lately, dark academia and high fantasy have been on my mind. Something cozy and dark to gear up for spooky season (the best season, that starts in late august and doesn’t end until December don’t @ me). Expect something set in a warmly lit manor on a cold stormy night, a hardworking boy in need of feeding, and a fully stocked kitchen ready to be cooked in… ✨👻🎃💀✨

Hello, hope you are having a fantastic day! I'd like to request a oneshot where Toshinori and his s/o share a kiss before he pulls back just to tell them how beautiful they are, thus causing them to melt and kiss him back passionately.
Speechless
Toshinori Yagi x Reader
Summary: a walk under the silvery moon leaves a certain someone speechless with the beauty that walks besides him. You? You can’t help but melt over the man that walks beside you as well.
Finally going to try to pull myself out of the hole of exhaustion and despair from school and use my weekend for the greater good rather than rewatch JoJo or MHA for the millionth time AND my blog is about to reach it’s one year anniversary, so I can’t think of a better way to celebrate other than write a cute little oneshot of our beloved Yagi. It’s a short and sweet celebration 🎉
Masterlist and request information
It was the days that winter had said their goodbyes to the cold earth that sighed relief in relief along with the trees that finally allowed themselves to sway into in the cold, chilly breeze. The clutches of that icy wind still continued to blow through those branches though as spring rolled in quietly, the little snow that decided to kiss the earth now slowly melting as the temperature slowly had begun to rise with the new found season. But spring came along more hero work studies, so you could only imagine how chilly they were in this deathly spring wind jumping from rooftop to rooftop. Chapped lips? Wind burned faces? You sure hoped that they took their precautions, or maybe you should prepare yourself from hearing their complaints from their lack of unpreparedness.
You couldn’t but let a soft giggle as you threw your head back gently to look up to the naked branches that crawled over head, almost lacing around the moon that seemed to follow you and your partner’s every move down the stone path. Though that giggle roused suspicion from your partner as his gloved hand moved to gently be placed over yours that hooked onto his arm that was at your side.
“What’s funny? I didn’t say anything.” He spoke out into that icy wind, breathe visible with that telltale fog. You only waved your freehand lazily to him, a smile upon your lips as you gave out a sigh as well.
“I was just thinking about the students, how I hope they prepare themselves for this cold weather while on their hero work studies. Though I can already imagine their whines and cries of their chapped lips or wind burned faces.” You finally relieved his curiously, a small smile lifting Toshinori’s gaunt face as the images popped within his own imagination. The look of exhausted, wind burned, young hero students was kind of heart warming in the sense that they were growing so much stronger within the hero force AND that he could very possibly dote on them along side you. What can he say, the retired made hero teacher plus the new school nurse made quite the duo when it came upon loving up on clad 1-A.
“Oh come now, we know Iida will have everyone prepared for everything!” He said, putting a little emphasis on the word ‘everything’, “I hope” he finally let himself chuckle out, his arm now wrapping around your shoulders as he gave you a loving though he couldn’t help buy slow his steps and finally halt to a stop, hands holding onto yours lovingly as looked down to you.
“Yeah you are right…” you finally spoke, soft smile now crawling upon your lips as you let your smaller, gloved hands be engulfed by his own gloved hands. It was nice, you could feel the warm already began to build up around your fingers at the new found insulation.
Though Toshinori was kind of lost, speechless even as he looked down at you. It was a strange occurrence, but not totally abnormal. The way that moonlight hit you upon his and yours little nightly walk in the cool spring air kind of just had him at a loss for words as his heart seemed to pound within the confines of his chest. You always seemed to make this happen to him, but he did me quite hate it either
“What? Is something on my face?” You spoke out as a hand had left the warm confines of his own as you were soon now reaching it up to let your finger tips reach up to your face, pushing back a few pesky hairs that flew up with the bitter wind, daring to get trapped between your parted lips as you pushed it back down, taking the rogue hair. Though your lips were silence by a chaste kiss placed upon yours, Toshinori now pulling back to look down at your once more, a soft blush upon your cheeks as you let a little giggle out, such a soft one that seemed to lilt gently with the wind, like a bell does.
“Sorry, I just had the sudden urge you know? You looked so beautiful, you almost seemed to stop my heart too along with it.” He said as he seemed to shyly laugh, empty hand now pressing against his chest as he looked down to you, space between you seeming to thin down as you your own breath seemed to now be trapped within you lungs.
No matter how many times he would seem to compliment you and be so charming, you would never grow use to it. Each time he would speak those sugared and seemingly dripping with an innocent and genuine charm compliments it would always send you in a frenzy, no getting use to or accustomed to it. You’d guess your emotions would never seemed to handle them because they were so genuine. They weren’t flirtatious, even though he could be very flirtatious along with you, but it was something about a whispered compliment that was just so innocent and true brought a different kind of warmth surging through your body as you now rested your hands upon his chest, those arms now pulling close to the warmth of your body as your lips soon connected with his, the two of your passionate kisses under the sill very, cold moon.
The pressure of his arms holding you tightly against him brought comfort and warmth to you as your lips still shared those passionate kisses, though nothing gold can stay as you pulled away, a soft smile upon your lips as you shyly rested your head against his chest, his hand now moving upward to gently run down the length of your hair as you felt a gentle laugh vibrate from his chest.
“Come on…let head back before we catch our death out hear.” He seemed to whisper out now, seemingly now scared to break the silence around the two of you on that very beautiful spring night.
“Yes agreed…”

a blog: *follows me*
me, an aged monarch lounging on my fur-strewn throne, gesturing for my servant to bring me my monacle: Bring them here! Bring them here, I say. Let me look at them.
guards: *drag the unwitting blog before me*
me, peering intently at the new blog and poking them with my scepter: Is this a real person? Hmm? What have you to say for yourself? What are your fandoms? Your interests? Speak up, these old ears aren’t what they used to be.
guards, tentatively: they do seem to be a real person, sire. We found them in possession of several memes and a fandom rant.
me, subsiding back into my sumptuous furs and waving them away: most extraordinary. It has been an age since there was a real person, but just as well, the dungeons have been overflowing with those tacky pornbots. This newcomer may remain in my domain. Make them welcome. And fetch me a quill! I feel a ficlet coming on…

Guileless
Guileless: devoid of guile; innocent and without deception
Summary: Rohan takes a little break from the constant abnormalities of living in Morioh to Koichi’s recommendation. ‘Go out and maybe do something normal?’ But how does THE Kishibe Rohan fair in such a mundane getaway?
Well….a first for Kishibe Rohan and a JoJo character for that matter, I’m currently hyperfixed on JoJo and so here is me diverging from my usual writing for MHA on @all-might-can-smash-me
‘I’m sure it would be good for you Mr.Rohan! A break from your research and all that’s happening around here for a great start to your summer!’ Koichi chimes in enthusiastically as he sipped away at his iced tea that sat upon the wrought iron table that the young stand user and the world renowned Mangaka sat at.
The unforgiving rays of the sun beat down upon his swept hair, face grimacing at the recollection of the reason why he was treading along the winding dirt road, surrounding by nothing but fields upon fields of water and craps with an occasional cow grazing upon the marsh grasses.
‘A family friend owns a homestay out in the country side! Its nice and peaceful and quite comforting! It’s a reasonable price too! Should either pay the fee or pay for your stay by helping them with chores!” Koichi spoke excitedly, now scribbling down something upon the blank piece of paper within his spiral notebook before tugging it off with an obnoxiously loud RIP before handing it off to Kishibe, which he hesitantly took. ‘Here’s the number! Maybe look into it!’
THE Great Rohan having to trudge along in the middle of Japan’s countryside. The worlds greatest mangaka shouldn’t be left to go through such troubles. The scowl upon his face only deepened as he stopped to the side of an old and slightly bent street sign along the dirt road, reaching a hand up to brush away the dirt to read the lettering upon the old metal before looking down to the map and directions clutched in his other hand. ‘I guess we are on the right track…’ he muttered to himself before stepping back, letting his gaze finally admire his surroundings.
“The countryside….no….a desolate farm land that seems peaceful….but holds a dark secrete for our hero to stumble upon, will he ever escape!?” He muttered excitedly to himself as he began to crouch down, bags lowered to the ground so his slender hands could ul reach for his camera where he had began to snap pictures of the lonely street sign, the rusty sheds that sat upon the horizon, the crops, and the couple cows that munched away. “Hm…no…” he grumbled as he stared to the photos with a sigh before standing up, bags collected once more upon his back and map being slightly crumpled within his fingertips once more. “So much for research.” He grumbled as he took the turn to the right of the stop sign, quizzical eyes still admiring his surroundings even if it was very much the same info stretching on for miles and miles. Though he gasped upon something new upon the horizon.
“A quaint home that sits amongst the miles and miles of silent plains, inconspicuous to those who travel upon this very trail on their peaceful journey….such a home should hold such secrets that not even the normal person can ever imagine!” He was once again excitedly muttering out as he brought a finger to stroke his chin, map wielded hand perching on his hip. He gave his words a once over within his head before laughing to himself “it has potential…” he finally spoke with a smile crawling to his lips as he continued forward, finally reaching the stone path that led up to the old, minka farm house. His feet finally made it up to the veranda, poking his head into the opened sliding doors to peek down to the wooden flooring of the genkan and past to small hallway and the sliding doors that lined it. The camera was whipped out again, which he couldn’t help, it was like an extension of himself as he took a quick picture of the genkan before finally stepping forward into the genkan to remove his shoes and step into the main house, almost doing a double take to neatly line up his shoes before continuing forward.
You see….Rohan knew it was probably (most definitely) rude to just go ahead and invite himself in, but the architecture of the home? The excitement coursed within him as he thought of all the possibilities he just made himself by snapping photos of the detailed wooden floors, of the sliding traditional doors, even the walls. But it was odd…no one resided in the entrainment/ tea room, the bedroom that seemed lived in didn’t have anyone in it and the other four rooms were empty, no futons set up. The dining room empty. The kitchen empty, but there upon the wooden veranda past the open sliding doors, sat a radio that played the weather forecast quite loudly, which Rohan only huffed as he took it upon himself to lower the pesky sound, which the new found silence invited the sound of the summer bugs and far off clicking chickens to make their way to his ears. There his camera went again to click away to the garden in the back, the clothes hanging and billowing in the soft breeze under the summer sun, and to the chickens that pecked stupidly about.
“Oh my goodness! I didn’t expect you to be right there!” Came out an exasperated voice, finally a face framed by a straw hat coming into the view and into Rohan’s sight through the camera, though that didn’t stop him from snapping a picture of their face before lowering down the camera, giving a quick polite bow.
“I apologize, I walked up to the front and no one was there but I couldn’t help myself but admire the interior of the home…” he spoke out matter of factor before standing straight.
“You’re Kishibe Rohan, the mangaka right? Koichi warned me- I mean told me about you” you quickly corrected yourself, tucking back a loose strand of hair behind your ear before making your way onto the veranda, removing your shoes before stepping inside, setting down the basket upon your hip onto the counter of the kitchen. “Well, I’m guessing you may have given yourself a little tour..” you teased before stepping up to another door off to the side “But this is the bath house, toilet is in the home on the opposite side of the hallway where the rooms are.” You explained as you motioned him to follow you, finding himself standing in front of the doors where the rooms resides, you kneeling down to slide one open before entering, motioning him forward. “This is your room, I’ll be next door” you pointing to the wall to your right. “So if you need anything during the night I’ll be there, in here is a basket and your futon, you can place all soiled clothes for me to wash. Also, since you agreed to help out, here’s what I expect, help me out in the garden in the morning, check the chicken coop for eggs in the morning and evening, feed them the same time, and water the garden in the evening, make sure the water runs cool before you do so” you explained, helping him place his bags to the side. “I have a list up on the fridge as a reminder, but other than that, that’s all I expect! Though since you are gonna be here for two weeks, you may have to accompany me to town, but that shouldn’t be too bad.” You explained. “Dinner should be on the trouble in about n hour, you can begin your chores tomorrow, I got everything covered for today….oh! And I almost forgot! The telephone is in the kitchen and there’s a desk in the tearoom!” you added before you made your way out, leaving Kishibe alone in the empty room upon the tatami floors.
And thus began such a mundane routine for the great Kishibe Rohan.
He didn’t know what to think of it! Him collecting eggs in the morning and scrounging about the garden in search for ripe produce, you hanging away the freshly washed clothes from the corner of his eye. He was use to outrageous adventures. This? What could he even describe this? He was lost in though as he watched the water droplets roll off the growing yatsutusa and down the stalks of corn to drip down onto the glistening leaves of the cucumbers below and the other plants that grew mercilessly in the little oasis of a garden.
“Hey Rohan? How’s it coming?” Came out your gentle voice as he looked over to you, stream of water coming to a stop as he placed the hose away, gratefully taking the glass of water from your hand to gulp from.
“It’s quite different from the life in the city.” He spoke out as his gaze looked down to you. At that moment something flopped in his stomach, causing him to quickly avert his gaze. “I should get washed up…” he muttered, giving his thanks as he handed back the glass to you, you watching his slender figure back into your home.
If only he knew that flop also happened within your own gut.
“Oh come on Kishibe…” he muttered to himself as he furiously scrub at himself as he sat upon the stool in the small little bath house, the steak frommthe tub fogging up the mirror he sat in front of, now scrubbing away at his hair and face before rinsing himself before allowing himself to to step into the tub to sink down into the steamy water. “This guileless life is getting to you….” He mumbled to himself.
Freshly bathed, he now sat in the tea room at the desk, sketch pad now sat upon it, pens sprawled out in different places as he almost seemed to mindlessly sketch. His stomach was already filled with the food made by your hands, chores done for the day, but he still seemed to find himself trouble. Though the sliding door caught his attention, head whipping to peer over his shoulder and to you who now was now placing a tray upon the center table.
“I saw that you were still up, so I brought tea.” You spoke out with a soft smile that almost seemed to squeeze his heart, though that cool look was kept upon his face as he gently set the pen down, graciously taking the tea cup from your hand to gently sip, you now seated with your own steaming cup. “You know for someone who is suppose to be on a break, you sure do work non stop.” You spoke out, nodding to the desk that held the sketch pad that seemingly had random doodles on it and to the drawn out manga panels to the side. Though a temptation crept up within him as you seemingly tried to get a glance to the manga panels, though his slender fingers nonchalantly flipped them over.
He could almost feel Koichi’s disappointed glare burn into him at the thought of using Heaven’s Door on you.
“Old habits die hard, but it’s just doodles” with that the sketch pad was placed on the floor before you, you laying upon stomach on the floor, hand propping up your head as you let your free hand probing up the sketch pad, though you let out a little giggle.
“Is that me?” You exclaimed as you pointed to the figure upon the page in a dramatic pose.
“What? Does it look bad?” He quickly questioned, hand reaching forward to the sketch pad, but you were already sitting up, hugging the booklet close to your chest to keep it from his grasp.
“No! I look so cool!” You exclaimed as you turned away from him, he quickly crawling over to your back side, trying to peer at the reaction on your face. “And look! You literally sketch the genkan in perfect detail, even to the pesky loose board!” You exclaimed as you tapped your finger on the sketch. Those slender fingers were reaching past your shoulders to grab ahold of the sketch pad gently to pull it away, it being closed and place back on the desk. A strange feeling of embarrassment seemed to take shelter within his stomach strangely, even if he allowed you to look at those sketches.
“Well it is late….I’m going to head back to my room, thanks for the tea” and then he was gone, you bidding your soft and sweet goodnight to him.
That night you couldn’t help but listen to the scribbles coming from the other room and past the thin paper walls that temporarily house Rohan.
A couple of days had passed and Rohan seemed to come a little out of his shell. Teasing you, helping you with chores that you didn’t expect from him. He would hang out with you in the tea room, letting you watch over his shoulder as he sketched, even taking request from you even if it was a silly cat or cow. The excited look upon your eyes as he handed you the drawing was enough to send him flying to the moon. He admired you, you were kind, gentle, and simple. Simple not in a bad way though, but in the wholesome way. In the way that you always seemed to cast a comforting warmth over him just by your presence. Wholesomeness was a feeling he sometimes lacked and it was nice to find it with you.
Thunder sent him shooting up from his futon, heavy breaths wracking his chest as he brushed away his hair. Scrambling up he made his way to the wall, finger sliding around for the small handle. He took no time to slide it open and rush into your room, you already pushing yourself up from the futon, hair in disarray as you looked to him.
“I’m so sorry….I’ll leave.” He spoke out, turning around to given a small smack to his forehead. Why in the world he just rushed into your room was beyond him….but your gentle voice piping up was even more unbelievable.
“No….it’s fine…” you quickly spoke up, Rohan hearing the rustling of you moving aside upon your futon, he hestitantly turning back to face you and slowly make his way to your futon, crawling in beside you, the blanket not quick reaching over his legs, it causing a slight breeze along the back of his legs.
“I must have got worried…” he finally dumbly spoke out as he allowed a finger to push back a linked up strand of hair from your face before letting those very fingertips gently rest upon your cheek bone, your own small hand reaching forward to brush the side of his face gently, your admiring the shadows and sculpt of his face.
“No it’s fine…” you softly and breathily spoke as your blushing face looked up to him in the darkness of the room, though somehow through the barely visible darkness, your lips met with each other, arms clutching and being your bodies closer to each other upon that futon, the raining pounding down outside.
Oh damn you Koichi

Hatchling
Keigo Takami / Hawks x Reader
Summary: You push Keigo to actually guide Tokyami instead of just using him as a means of getting the scoop on class 1A.
Masterlist and other information
Hawks? Who didn’t love the guy? He was one of the top three heroes and the public adored him, the ladies loved him, and heroes in training looked up to him? To you? Well....
“You invited Tokoyami to do what? To gossip like some old aunt or grandmother and then to just humiliate him?” You questioned with a stern look upon your face as Keigo looked to you as he slurped the cup of noodles that were being cradled in one of his hands, but the lowering of his wings showed what he felt. It was like when a dog’s ears would tilt downwards in guilt upon being scolded. That slurping on those noodles could hide the emotions that would have snuck up on his face but those wings betrayed him big time as he lowered the cup coolly from his face.
“Come on, I was interested in the USJ attack. I mean, a whole bunch of freshlings in a hero course taking on the League of Villains and making them even retreat? Who wouldn’t want to know more details.....and I may have felt like the hero commissions office wasn’t telling me everything” He spoke calmly with a shrug of his shoulders as he sat hunched out his cup of noodles upon the couch of the apartment you shared, soft glow of the late night program glistening upon his face.
You how ever only rolled your eyes as you barge into the lazy view he had upon the tv at the rerun of a cartoon he had watched, mouth opening in protest midway through lifting another bite of noodles to his face. “Keigo, that poor boy took you up on your offer to shadow you because you are in Japans top three heroes only for you to want a bit of gossip and to have him chasing after you like the rest of your sidekicks? You are suppose to be instructing him to be a hero not a sidekick!” You exasperated to him as he could only sit there and silently stare at you at a loss for words as the noodles plopped back into the cup, splashing the broth onto him in which in return gave a yelp out as it had already began to possibly stain his shirt.
“Alright! Please look over today’s agenda! Emails with certain tasks will be emailed to your work emails as well, so don’t forget to check them!” you announced to the division of sidekicks that were under your supervision. They all gave their polite responses before heading to their cubicles or rushing off to their other duties. Phones were already ringing and causing a ruckus, but you saw Tokoyami waiting patiently, you giving a sigh as you begin to walk forward now giving a small bow to the hero in training. “Hey there, I hope Hawks isn't being a handful” you spoke out with a little laugh.
“He is quite fast, but its something that I must go through to become a hero” the young student spoke out seriously, though you couldn’t help but just see that disappointment flash across his face.
“Well it must be tiring nonetheless, join me and Hawks for dinner tonight, I’ll contact Eraser Head to make sure he is aware of the arrangement. We’ll also make sure you are back safely” You spoke as you gave his shoulder a comforting squeeze before you were marching off with your clicking heels. You didn’t even allow him to give a yes or no to an invite
Nonetheless, he was now slipping his shoes off, back in his school uniform, besides Hawks who was now tossing off the yellow protective eyewear and stripping his jacket off with a sigh of relief. Tokoyami didn’t know what to expect when he tried to picture your home, but it wasn’t this. It was homey and the walls were filled with pictures from all stages of life. Pictures of first dates, birthdays, honeymoon, anniversary, wedding. It was strange, but he surely didn’t mean to stare at them for too long.
“That was them and I’s first anniversary” He commented as he stepped forward to point to one of them that Tokoyami’s eyes landed on. “We went to Kyoto, they are into history and more traditional things, but anyways I bought them a ring, pretty diamond to go with their wedding band and some bird had the audacity to steal it right from my hand!” He spoke out, though looked past Tokoyami as he heard a giggle.
“Hawks went searching for forever until he finally stole it back from their nest, but he came back to me covered in scratch marks” You finished the story as you took Tokoyami’s school bag to place off to the side upon a shelf that your purse sat on.
Now this really was a culture shock. Average people never really think that a hero actually has a life behind the hero scene unless you run into a specific heroes kid like when he met Shoto. Tokoyami also had to admit that Hawks was really on the bottom of the list of people that he would have pictured actually having a family of his own. And it was weird.
Hawks seemed normal talking to his wife, just talking about his day at work and she just felt like a motherly figure when she had began to inquire about how school was going for Tokoyami and what his future goals were. An odd fuzzy feeling rose to his chest as he ate his food and spoke in turn and politely listened. All this time he felt brushed off to the side, forgotten, like his time was wasted once again by showing up again to shadow under Hawks, the number 2 hero, but why now does he feel like he is part of a family? He almost wanted to curse himself.
“Come on Tokoyami, lets go for a little outing before we call it a day” Hawks spoke as his chair slid back as he rose from it, wings stretching out wide. Tokoyami was quick to follow, almost nervous for what was to come.
“You boys be safe now, you hear?” You called, smiling softly at the ‘yeah we will’ that followed and the door closing. It wasn’t until a bit later the door was opened once more, you already standing before them. “Alright you two, huddle together!” you chirped out as you lifted you phone up.
“What for?”
“I didn’t get a picture last, but Tokoyami was your first and only student you brought in and I want to remember this special occasion. Now come on you two” you beckoned, smiling down proudly to the picture after it was taken. “Cuties..now Tokoyami, here's your bag, I hope you don't mind but I made mochi for you and packed it away in there” You spoke as you handed him his bag. “Visit us every now and then too, I want to be able to see what a fine hero you will become” You spoke up with a proud smile.
That very same night when Hawks had returned for bringing Tokoyami back to the UA dorms, you waited for him expectantly for details. Though he only gave you a shrug “What? I just gave my little hatchling some pointers” And that brought a smile upon your face and a sense of relief.
The next time Tokoyami had came to you and Hawks’ home for dinner, that very picture of him and Hawks was framed right at the doorway for everyone to see and that warm and fuzzy feeling plagued his heart once again.

Masquerade
Hawks/Keigo Takami x Reader
Summary: you run into a man who helps you take a short break from the life of a party that could bore anyone to death, he says he has his own agency and struggles with people recognizing him, but that doesn’t ring a bell for you.
Masterlist
The sound of laughter, shuffling expensive fabric, obnoxiously loud conversations, and the smell of expensive beverages wasn’t quite your scene as you stood amongst a circle of people. You stood and listened to them boast and brag behind their little shades or masks that were there in hopes of masking their identities along with their hero names that may or may not have been flattering or embarrassing. Those awful conversations filled with champagne did not mix with the classical music that played from the live, mini sized orchestra either and it could almost make a cringe burden your face behind the simple masquerade mask you wore, but you always caught your emotions from glinting across your face, it was a skill that you needed to learn and master from a young age. That is what came from being conditioned by the commission itself you guessed from early on in your life. Guess you could chalk it up to being old habits that would forever stick to you.
“And you! You were elected as the commission’s designer right? So you get to play around with costumes for heroes all day? Play dress up?” Questioned one of the heroes in the little circle. It perturbed you a bit, you expected to go all night without anyone asking you questions and seemingly being passive aggressive with it. Or that person be slightly intoxicated as well since you could hear the slur in their words and sway in their step. So what do you do?
“Of course, what else would I be doing?” You replied back with a charming smile, flute of champagne soon brought up to your lips as you took a small sip, everyone’s attention now back to their bragging and constant and silent battle on who was the best among them. None of them however were in the top 100, that's for sure.
Your eyes now quickly darted around the room. You wanted an escape, but then what? Find yourself in another circle of heroes who tried to compensate for their lack of popularity? Or have someone else belittle your place in the world? Sitting by yourself didn’t seem at all bad, but what goof will that do? Sitting by yourself in a room filled with people obligated to do good? They would probably approach you and offer to sit with you like the nice popular girl does to the weirdo at school before homecoming queen is voted for. Oh well, you guessed, might as well do as you go. You slowly backed away from the circle, the others preoccupied with themselves.
“Oh no, I’m not interested..” A man spoke out, a woman seeming to follow with every step he took away. He let out a small exclamation as he felt something solid run into his side. You gave a sigh, mouth about to open to scold the person who had bumped into your side, though soon you felt your body be turned, the person who had almost made you soil the front of your dress with your champagne now had their arm around you. “You see, my wife here wouldn’t appreciate me gallivanting around with strange women, isn’t that right dear?”
You were confused and maybe even slightly dazed as you heard the man say that, You were even more in a daze as you looked up to the masked figure and to the red wings that were almost sprawls magnificently out from behind him, glinting under the many lights upon the chandelier above. A little clear from his throat made you come back to your sense as you brought that charming smile you were told to do over and over again, giving a soft nod of your head as you looked to the defeated woman before you.
“You are correct about that dear, I wouldn’t appreciate you going out with mysterious women that aren’t me!” You said with a laugh, flute placed upon a tray of a passing waiter, hand now placed upon the man’s chest, the woman profusely apologizing before scurrying away to hide her embarrassed self amongst the many crowds and to possibly avoid the man’s face along with your own.
“Lets go honey” He spoke, you giving a vigorous nod of your had as took his arm, following after his casual steps and past the many groups of people and passed the open curtains that covered the tall entrances to the many platforms that lined the ballroom. This particular one clichély led to the gardens of the venue. You didn’t care how cliché it was though, you were glad to now catch a break from the annoyances that walked and spat all over those polished ballroom floors. “Man, that was close, thanks for playing along” He said as he let a sigh of relief.
“I should be thanking you, I don’t know how long I could take all those ridiculous conversations anymore” You said as you let go of his arm, taking the liberty to step ahead and down the marble steps the lead to the grass that almost seemed to be fake by how perfect it seemed to be. “Mind entertaining me for a bit? Before we either have to join the party or leave?” You asked with a small smirk to which he only returned as he followed in your shadow, hand soon lifting the small train of your gown. “Lets sit for a bit” you suggested as you sat down upon a small stone bench that was sat off to the side along the cement path that led through the garden or various bushes of flowers and fruit. The masked man sat beside you, the train of fabric he once held now piled onto his lap.
“I would have thought this mask would have hidden my identity, too bad my wings are a dead giveaway” He mumbled, though you only raised an eyebrow at him before looking off onto the garden. “What?” he asked, you only shrugging your shoulders.
“Just that I find you conceited. I don’t know who you are” you pointedly out with a matter of fact tone as you folded your hands on your lap, the other, who you guessed was a hero, looked at you in bewilderment.
“You live under a rock or something lady?” He asked as he ruffled his feathers a bit, face scrunched up with his confusion as you looked back to him accusingly, hands snatching the trail of your dress from his lap, tossing it to the ground as you got up.
“For your information I am a costume and weapon concept designer for the comission...so its pretty much my job to do business with who they tell me about and keep to myself about anyone else.....and gossip magazines and drama news channels isn’t really my thing if you are only known for being controversial.” With that you were marching down the path towards the garden, the man now scrambling up and easily catching up with you.
“Whoa there, I’m sorry, I’m just not use to people who really don’t know who I’m and when I say that I really am not trying to sound so....”
“Douchey?”
“Yeah....douchey” he confirmed with a small laugh as he looked over his shoulder and to the classy party that was still carrying on within the fancy walls of the ballroom. “Look...I’m Hawks” He finally said, reaching out a hand, which you only gave a small glance before you sighed, your hand soon giving his a firm shake. “Nice to meet you.”
“Likewise” you spoke out, though you only stiffly and sassily turned away to continue your walk along the crackless cement path, Hawks now falling in step beside you. You were glad, just by a tiny bit, that's all you would admit to yourself as you looked over to him. “So, you area hero I’m guessing? Judging by your name?” You asked as you clasped your hands behind your back, Hawks shoving his hands into the stiff pockets of his trousers.
“Yeah, I am. I have my own agency in Fukuoka city. I have plenty of sidekicks registered with me, but really they end up being my cleanup crew. I’m a little to fast to keep up with” with a sheepish smile he looked down to you who only nodded your head with a hum before looking back ahead. “I can control my feathers from my wings, helps fulfill my need of being a constant mutli tasker” he joked a bit, which you gave a small laugh as you looked to his wings he now stretched out behind him fully. They only seemed to put you in awe as you raised a hand questioningly, only letting your hand softly brush against the red feathers once he gave a nod of permission.
“You seem pretty young, that is a lot you’ve got accomplished” You complimented, your steps now coming to halt as the two of you now made eye contact. Though he looked away to now look up to the starry night.
“I could say the same for you, you are the same age or yet probably a year or two younger” he pointed out before he looked down to you, waiting expectantly for an answer. you gave a nod of your head.
“What can I say? The commission liked what I could do and plucked me right up after my graduation” you said with a small roll of your eyes and a sarcastic chuckle. “Can’t complain, I wouldn’t be standing here with all these opportunities handed to me.” a sigh was soon pushed out into the cool spring air, Hawks giving a soft nod before looking back down to you.
“Yeah, I’m all too familiar with that...” you were just about to open your mouth to ask him a question before you cellphone had began to blare out it’s annoying ringtone, causing your to scramble for it within your bag to finally answer it, walking a bit ahead to hush words into the device before hurrying back.
“I’m sorry, but I have to leave!” you shouted as you were already running off as fast as your heeled feet could take you, Hawks trying his best catch up, but once you had begun to weave through the groups, he lost you. With a curse he got swept away in a group, now to only be left to wish to see you again.
“Good morning!” Called the secretary as you sipped tiredly from your coffee and was now skillfully opening your office door despite the binders and folders that were balanced on your arm. “You had a delivery this morning, so i placed it on your desk” called the secretary as you entered your room, eyes landing upon the flowers that rested in their vase on your desk.
“What in the world....” you muttered out as you settled the things down on the work table nearby, now stepping up to the vase that held the arrangement to pluck off the note that sat in it’s little plastic holder.
‘I didn’t even get the chance to ask for a number let alone an email address or something...so here is mine -Hawks’ and there was the number and there was the stupid grin that managed to crawl on your face as you sat down at your desk now admiring the flowers.
“Goodness..” you mumbled out as you grabbed the remote for the tv that was mounted onto the wall, turning on the channel, listening to the voices as you prepped your desk for the work you were about to begin.
“Number two hero Hawks made an appearance at the ball for Hero and all Hero support personnel and sidekicks hosted by the commission to raise donations for the damage caused by....” Though the rest of the words now drowned out from your ears as your mouth was now agape, you now sitting up straight within your chair as you stared down to the name ‘Hawks’ scribbled on the small piece of cardstock.
“What?!” You exclaimed. Wow...you really escaped that ball with the nation’s number two hero and didn’t even know.
How embarrassing...

Motherly Instincts, Human Emotions, or Just a Quirk?
Aizawa Shouta/Eraserhead x Reader
Summary: A feeling is haunting you and it seems to just get even more complicated as the number one hero Endeavor is now out of his hospitalization and the world is at an unease. Is it just your motherly instincts that you feel towards your beloved class 1-A? Is it just a normal occurrence of emotion within any person? Or is it your quirk now picking up something new that you can’t quite see yet?
What I listened to while writing: Detroit:Become Human soundtrack, especially Kara’s Theme.
We are finally here! The fifth season of our beloved My Hero Academia/Boku no Hero Academia has finally arrived! And with that also comes some writings! I’ve been swamped with my new busy schedule that comes along with being in cosmetology school, don't ever under estimate those students because we sure go through a lot each day! Please enjoy this short, on the whim writing for a humble celebration.

A chill had risen up your arms as your typed away at your computer, the hurried and petrified voice of the news caster raging out even if your tv was brought down to a hushed volume.
“Number one hero Endeavor is is currently defeating a villain. Much damage has been caused to the area. No fatalities as of right now....” Though whatever they had left to speak out to all of Japan or even the whole world did not matter as your chair had clattered upon the ground as you reached for your house coat. the bright light of the hall blinding your eyes as wisps of hair that had fallen from your hair tie floated amongst the wind you created with your nervous steps down the stairs. Shoto had fallen to the ground and your colleague was already there hovering over the teen, the rest of the class either crowding their fellow classmate or staring in shock to the news blaring from the tv.
That day the world changed and not even the world’s most naïve person could ever deny such a thing.
“Here is your jacket, Shoto...” You spoke out softly as you stood in front of the boy, hands reaching to straighten out the collar, the young man only silently standing before you expressionless as usual. Though you could have sworn you felt a tremor. Whether it was you or him, that could be debatable. “Just remember the time we set, ok? If you feel uncomfortable don’t be afraid to just excuse yourself so Mr.Aizawa and I can bring you straight back to the dorms, they will understand that if you have too.” assuring you hoped your words would sound to the boy, but that forever blank expression only looked back to you.
“Ok...” he softly spoke out, you nodding your head as you stepped out from his path.
“Ok” felt like the only appropriate response as you watched him step up to the house, disappearing behind the very daunting front door.
You didn’t want to come off as one of those crazy conspiracist types who always had a foul theory about a hero, villain, and their families, but with your quirk helping you feel the atmosphere or vibe of people, places, or things, you couldn't help but silently be one. Shoto always carried something awful, something that made your heart become heavy despite his neutral expressions. It always perturbed you to no end. It wasn’t like you have never felt this before either. With your previous job being interviewing and helping rehabilitate “troubled” children and mentally stricken heroes and now being the counselor of UA, it was something that always came. What bothered you though was that it was coming from the son of the nation’s number one hero, a family that would seem normal to all of Japan and the entire world because, well, it was a family of a hero. A had on your shoulder made you snap out of your racing thoughts, now looking over your shoulder and to Aizawa.
“Are you ok?” He questioned, almost a bit awkwardly. You didn’t blame him, your reaction to the atmosphere around was probably strange and maybe even frightening. “I know your quirk can...”
“I’m just worried...” You spoke out with a sigh as rested a hand over his before moving away from his touch to lean against the hood of the car, hands now sitting in your lap as you twiddled your thumbs. “And I’ve been picking up something weird, but who knows, maybe its just that this house probably too damn old and spooky” you tried to joke with a meek laugh, though he only stared with a knowingly look, yet did not press any further. You had to be thankful for that, he sure knew when to back off sometimes, maybe not when it came to his own homeroom students, but for you? He did and you didn’t really care to know his reason for why like whether or not he thought you were too weak to handle it or some other seemingly offensive reason. “Shit!” You exclaimed as a fowl hiss came from the side walk in front of you. There a scared cat arched and puffed it’s body out, though Aizawa paid no mind with a lazy look as he calmly approached the cat, slowly reaching out a hand to let the feral beast sniff, quickly gaining his trust. You couldn't help but let out a giggle as the man scooped up the cat in his arms, now leaning against the car next to you where his hands loved up upon the cat’s dirty fur, his black hair falling to hide the sides of his face. Sometimes you would sit there and imagine what he would look like with that mane of his trimmed and tidied during the sleepless nights you shared playing card games, doing paperwork together, or doing a quick patrol around the dorm to check upon the beloved students of class 1-A.
“Huh, you sure your quirk isn’t taming wild cats?” You teased as you reached a hand to give the old cat a scratch under his chin. The little chuckle that rumbled through rumbled through you before he began to speak.
“I wish, creating a cat sanctuary of street cats seems like the life best suited for me..” He spoke out lowly with the purrs of the cat. You knew he was joking however which brought a small lift to the corners of your lips.
It didn’t take him much thought to know that something was still bothering you as the cat jumped from him arms to land back to the ground with what seemed to be a small meow of thanks as it ran off into the night only leaving behind the pesky cat hairs on his all black costume, but he didn’t mind at all.
“Look at you, covered in cat hair...” Your voice came out in a whisper which you weren't aiming to do as you reached a hand to try to dust away the short hairs in vain, though his rough hands wrapped around yours in order to stop you, a knowing look upon his face. That look made you sigh as you retracted your hands from his.
That damn man. He knew when to not press about things like he did to others, but when it got to a certain point in his eyes, he always intervened. You were foolish enough to think you would be able to suppress and hide it enough in order to trick those fatigued eyes of his. Not this time, the feelings that plagued your heart and continued to poke at you were too strong and too bothersome.
“Shoto always carried things such as sadness, anger, determination, trauma, just a lot more than I could swallow sometimes.” You began to explain, now looking up to the house watching the shadows dance across one of the windows lit up by the soft light within. “And this whole area is filled with so many bad things...but right now it kind of confuses me” You said as your eyebrows scrunched at the new shift. “Change is happening, which is normal to see in a person once they go through the proper treatment or therapy, but judging by how bad it was before, it is going to take a lot...” You said with a sigh, lowering your gaze from the house, trying your best to shut off the swarm of emotions before you and to end your reading, now looking to Aizawa. “It just saddens me, Shoto seems so aloof, but that boy has went through so much, I guess I’m just worried from him, scared for him..” You explained.
“Doesn’t make since why he would come back?” He asked softly, you only staring back up to him to roll that thought within your head before nodding your head. Aizawa only nodded his head back, his arm now reaching to wrap an arm around your dropping shoulders, you now leaning your head against his shoulder. The embrace was comforting and you appreciated his understanding, but you still had such an anxious feeling in your gut.
“I know this world preaches forgiveness and for us to fix the wrongs we commit in our life, but even for me who helps those people forgive and seek forgiveness, its still hard to do it myself sometimes. It also goes to show that even a family like this can hold all these...foul things” You explained further as you looked p to the moths and bugs that swarmed the streetlight up above and soon past their mindless flight and to the dull stars above. The tears pulled at the brim of your eyes, your chin beginning to strain with the sensation that came with crying. “These kids are like my babies...” you soon shakily spoke out, fighting back the horrendous expression you knew would come too with your tears as you looked to Aizawa “And right now I can’t fight off this feeling in my gut ever since the Endeavor incident..” Your trembled whisper almost seemed fearful.
A door slamming made Aizawa’s head snap to the source of the sound where the both of you sat in the silence, bodies tense as you waited. Finally with a deep sigh his body relaxed as he looked back to you, a hand reaching to brush away those tears that could move him to tears if he was off guard, though sometimes that wouldn’t even work and that would definitely not go past you.
Your hands reach to cup the lower, stubbled half of his face upon seeing that familiar wetness gently pool in his eyes, but it was not enough to fall upon his cheeks and betray his wishes of not wanting to cry. You guessed you were not alone with these feelings
“I know...” He spoke out quietly with a sad smile. “We just have to prepare them as best as we can. Shoto, Izuku, Eri, Shinsou, all the others” Aizawa continued on as he was no fully turned to you, hands holding your upper arms, one of them moving away to reach for a piece of hair that was caught onto your sweater to pluck it off and let it float gently down into the darkness of the night.
“But they are just kids...”
“I know, but they chose this path, besides, they have already accomplished and achieved so much. Who knows, maybe whatever is coming will be another thing these students will once again defeat and make us adults look stupid again” Aizawa was trying to joke, trying to lift that melancholy looked that wrinkled your face, but it was no use. With a sigh he stood up straight, those warm hands of his sliding away as he opened the passenger door for you, those eyes seeming to look even more exhausted if that were even possible. “Come on, lets get the car started, its almost time to bring Shoto home.”
Motherly instincts, human emotions, a quirks power....was it simply not a good mix or was it simply something big was coming? How those thoughts came in typhoons within your mind as you sat in silence in there car.
How you will never be able to figure that one out....
