hi i’m working on my 5th fic and i looked at ur spn fic “family tree” how do you do the gifs? and manips they look so good!!!!

thank you sososo much!!! i'll preface this by saying that 99% of my method is just trial and error/moving things around until it looks good!! i do my gif editing on capcut for the most part, pick whatever two clips i want to mash together and for manips i usually remove the background on my oc/whatever character i'm adding!! the hardest part is smoothing out the edges/scaling, but again that's just sort of trial and error!! once you've done that you can experiment with coloring, text, and whatever else you want to add!! try to keep the video fairly short though, and then export it as a video file. once you have that file, i use a site called ezgif.com, where there should be a video to gif function!! from there you can trim it, compress it, and slow down the frame rate a little bit to make sure it stays under wattpad's wp 3mb file limit!! im super bad at explaining things but i hope this helped!! :)
