Update and Playtesting

Playtesting has been ongoing, and I’d say it’s going well! The players who have completed the game have told me how much they’ve enjoyed it! I’m thrilled to hear that. It’s always nice to hear that people enjoy the work you’ve poured into a project. There have been some bumps along the way, but that’s to be expected. September 2024 – Upcoming Trailer Premiere

Updates

I’m getting over a cold as I’m writing this. I haven’t been very productive the last couple of days (except on my farm in Stardew Valley XD). My brain has been too tired to code or write music, so I took a much needed break to let it rest.

Before I got sick I got a lot done this month! The final scenes in the game are almost done. I just have one more scene to put together after that, one more puzzle to code, some music I need to write and then it’s just small things here and there that I need to add or polish. I’m very happy with the progress I’ve made so far, and I’m still set for the game to release in the first half of 2025.

Playtesting

Soon I’ll be doing playtesting! I playtest everything when I put it together to make sure everything works as it should, but there are always little things I miss, so that’s a really important phase in development. I have a group of people who will be doing a first round of playtesting, but I will be asking for more playtesters either at the end of 2024 or the beginning of 2025. I’ll make an announcement when that opens up. Keep that in mind if you’re interested!

New Trailer Premiere

I’ll be releasing a new trailer at the end of next month! A developer friend helped me put it together, and I’m so excited for you all to see it! It premieres October 25 at 8:30pm CT.
