I had the opportunity through my job at SIGG (this years hydration sponsor) to shoot the Vans Warped Tour in Toronto.  These are a few shots of this years headliner, We Came As Romans.

An Aston Portrait
A few weeks back, I took some portraits of a proud new owner of an Aston Martin V8 Vantage Coupe.  It's perrrrdy.  It was a quick and dirty shoot, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome.  Next on the list is to get this thing in a studio environment.  Here are a few of the looks:

Big thanks to Duane and Scott for being great assistants coming out bright and early.  Also thanks to Vicky for helping me out!

I'm enjoying this car thing... I have a few new ideas to try out.   More to come.

Summer Catch-Up: Pt.3 - Weddings!
Two years ago I don't think I would have believed it, but I actually quite enjoyed shooting my first wedding season!  I have just added a small wedding portfolio on my main site, and am already booking for 2013!

Summer Catch-Up: Pt.2 - Cottage
Every year for the past decade plus, my family has escaped up north to a cottage with my aunt, uncle and their kids.  It's becoming more and more difficult to do so with everyone growing up and everyone schedules becoming more hectic, so this year may be the last!  It won't be if I have anything to say about it.  I was only up for a weekend this year, but took a few quick snaps:

Summer Catch-Up: Pt.1 - Algonquin
Seeing as though Christmas is seven weeks away, what better time to catch up on my summer events!  This is part 1 of 4 of my summer catch-up posts:
For the past 4 years, a few great friends have travelled up to Algonquin provincial park for long weekends with the bears.  As much as I love city life, I forget how necessary it is to get away from it all.  I brought along a camera this year to document.  Here are a few snaps: Can't get tired of this view:

I visited a pumpkin patch for the first time yesterday.  Since it is late in the season, many of the pumpkins were decomposing and rotting away.  I was intrigued by the textures and shapes that came from this process.  Therefore I give you this mini series: Pumpkins in Various States of Decay.

Back at it.
Oh hey! As you may or may not have noticed, I've been out of the social networking grind for a few months now.  Since school finished I took a bit of a break from photography, and oh do I miss it.  I'm now back in full swing, and stay tuned for plenty of new content soon.   It's also my birthday!  The big 24.  I'm incredibly fortunate for the wide variety of experiences that I have had in my short life.  I've travelled to more countries than fingers on my hands, been to university and college, lived over seas, worked as a cabinet maker, worked a desk job, and now have started my own business.  I have big things planned for this year, and I can't wait to show ya'll what I have up my sleeves!! I was also going through some old family pictures the other week, and came across these birthday classics:

I have recently been inspired to experiment with photographing liquid.  Something as simple as water can form such dynamic and beautiful images.  These are some results of my first attempt.  More to come!
