Uhhh, so I accidentally introduced my English teacher to Call Me By Your Name.
So, a little backstory. I go to my home high school of around 1,800 people or so, and then half a day, every day, I go to the Zoo for Zoo Academy. We had to apply to get in because it’s an academy and there’s few spots. Luckily I got in.
Anyways, due to the few spots, of about 50 students in the afternoon, which is when I go, we sometimes have very small classes. My Honors English 11 class is two other people and me, and the other two aren’t huge talkers, so my English teacher and I talk like we’re just having a conversation, which is great because she’s cool and we get along good.
One day, after the other two had left early for track and field practice, my teacher and I were talking about good books we’d been reading, and I mentioned how I just finished the book “Call Me By Your Name” by André Aciman. I loved the movie, and the book more so. Essentially, it’s an mlm romance novel set in the summer Northern Italy in 1983. It’s a gorgeous read.
So, I told her about it, and how much I would reading it, and without thinking, I told her she should read it sometime, if she ever got the time.
Let me repeat: I TOLD MY ENGLISH TEACHER TO READ MAN ON MAN LOVE AND EROTICA IN THE FORM OF AN ITALIAN ROMANCE NOVEL.
I won’t spoil anything, but for those of you who have read the book, I completely forgot about the peach scene, the bed scene, swimming, Rome, and about the middle third of the book. Haha it will be fine (;´༎ຶٹ༎ຶ`)

So at my school we have the “men’s” and “women’s” bathrooms next to each other but the entrances are like six feet apart and there’s normally a vending machine or something between them. So if I have to go to the bathroom, yes I will be shitting inside of the trash can.

More Talks On The Cottagecore Aesthetic
There’s no real reason for me to be typing this out right now, except that this just really struck me for some reason. It shouldn’t have to be said but oh well; Having your aesthetic be Cottagecore isn’t necessarily mean you have to wear vintage dresses 24/7, or be in love with snails and bugs, or even need to have an affinity for bread. The whole reason it’s called Cottagecore and not Strictly-Bread-Cottages-Snails-Bugs-Flowers-Mushrooms-Core is because it is a romanticized and westernized idea of living on a farm or cottage in Europe or the countryside. Of course, those things are all popular, but some people hate bread, or bugs, or snails, or dresses, or even all of those items. The main important thing to remember is that Cottagecore is what the wearer makes of it. Obviously, bright LEDs and neon flashing off of them isn’t Cottagecore, but daydreaming of flowers and farming is. There’s several elements to it, but just feel it out. It’s your one time in this lifetime, so enjoy it however you want to.

Queer Struggles (Aesthetic Edition)
Ok, I don’t know if this is anybody else, but I have been struggling with what my aesthetic is. I thought I was the “Token Gay Friend,” but then I moved onto the Cottagecore Aesthetic. I still use Cottagecore elements, but I also take pieces from Dark Academia, Alt, and Indie Movie Aesthetics. I’m just trying to romanticize my life, so even though I’m a crackhead, I am just living my day from moment to moment, making myself the main character in my own story. So that’s all for now. I know maybe two or three people will see this, and only one will like it. But this is my rant for now. Have a great day

This is incredible.... I’m a Libra, an air sign, and I enjoy fresh air, but I also crave the raw soil spilling out of the Mother Earth
Hello lovely Diana, I’ve noticed that I can really only practice witchcraft with any kind of success if the window is open. I’m an air sign, and I feel like I must feel fresh air while I practice. Do you have any insight as to why that might be? Have you ever felt something similar?
Witches and Dominant Elements
As a witch, the dominant element in your chart is potentially your greatest strength. It is engraved into your subconscious. But you have to awaken it. If you do not know your dominant element, simply look for your dominant Zodiac signs, and see their elemental equivalents.
AIR-DOMINANTS
Your spells will gain more effectiveness when performed outdoors. Cast banishments and curses on a windy day. Perform divination on your balcony. Have a window open while reading books on the occult. The air outside blends with the Air in your essence, allowing energy to flow effortlessly.
I have mentioned my grandfather once or twice. As an Air-dominant, he could change the direction and strength of the wind, to weaken a storm, to banish a flood, to halt a fire.
WATER-DOMINANTS
Use floating candles in altars and for rituals. Live by the beach, a river or another body of water, to stay safe from others’ magical interference. Hydrate well before performing divination or casting a spell. Eat seafood to nourish your subconscious. Water is your craft’s other half. Treat it as such.
As a Water-dominant, seeing water in my sleep – a glass of it, drops of rain, a lake nearby – is my infallible confirmation that I am wandering, instead of merely dreaming.
EARTH-DOMINANTS
Focus your energy on spells that involve plants, because making them work will be easy for you. Learn herbology, because potion-making should come easy. Fill your house with wooden furniture and décor. Perform rituals and divination on a wooden or stone surface, instead of a plastic or glass table.
In my family, Earth-dominant witches walk barefoot on soil when they are sick. The earth absorbs their illness. Those who live in the city use gardening as an alternative.
FIRE-DOMINANTS
Rituals performed when you have a fever should prove highly effective, because the Fire inside you is more active. Pyromancy would be easier for you to master than for other people. Casting spells that involve flames would come naturally to you. Always have a candle lit, to connect you to your element.
According to our journals, Fire-dominant witches who dwell near the equator will always be stronger than those who live away from it. Because they are closer to the Sun, the cosmic form of their element.

Ok but like what if we started a witchy country like where we share and celebrate our cultures and customs and traditionsand differences. A place where we don’t discriminate (ever), but especially not based on religion, race, sexuality, gender identity, physical abilities (or lack thereof). A place where we learn to love and live with each other, and we spread that to everyone and try to restore balance to nature and reroot ourselves into the earth. Just saying

You’re still a witch.
You’re still a witch.
You’re still a witch if you like pink and sparkly gowns. You’re still a witch if you like black and dark gloomy days. You’re still a witch if you’re not a huge fan of tarot cards. You’re still a witch if you’d rather play with puddles than crystals. You’re still a witch if you’re young. You’re still a witch if you’re old. You’re still a witch when you haven’t practiced witchcraft in a while.
Being a witch means you’ve found your inner power as a women. You’ve found your inner soul, your connection with your environment and your fellow creatures on this earth.  You will always be a witch.

Oh, to live in the German village with your childhood best friend next door and waking up every morning to see your beautiful significant other right next to you, and go on a mushroom hunt for dinner and coming home to a family of frogs sleeping on your front porch
