New Alchymie piano track on compilation from New Age Music Planet

New Age Music Planet will be releasing The Piano Album November this year. Much thanks goes to mastermind Paul Landry for his hard work in connecting artists and putting the album together. The album offers a rich showcase of piano compositions from a roster of international and award winning artists. It is a wonderful cohesive flow of New Age piano music. Jasmine Snow , a piano piece I wrote specifically for this album, reflects just that…jasmine petals as if they were snow. While sitting outside one windy afternoon I noticed our jasmine bush and the white petals falling to the ground as the wind swept through it. It was as if it was snowing, but just only there, a gorgeous fragrant snowfall all around the bush and beneath it. Snow in the middle of summer. Beautiful and surreal. I’m honored to have been able to contribute Jasmine Snow to this wonderful album which highlights artists and their piano work from New Age Music Planet. Spectral Reflections is the vision of Virginia and James Wilson owners of The Live Room. The Live Room, begun in 2013 by the Wilsons, focuses on providing audio/video production services, musical compositions, recording, mastering, and production for live events and in the studio. Musicians and audio synthesists with over 30 years experience as multimedia artists, digital designers and producers of audio and video; they bring this expertise and their inherent artistic teamwork to New Age music focused on wellness and healing. Together they have had the opportunity to work with and study under pioneering visionaries of audio, video and film such as Hollis Frampton, Woody and Steina Vasulka, Tony Conrad and Lejaren Hiller. Their work has been supported by The National Endowment for the Arts, the professional sports industry of Buffalo, New York and Tampa, Florida, and by numerous start-ups and high tech giants across the United States.

With Echoes of the Sea, Spectral Reflections takes you directly to the ocean side with soothing music for a complete uninterrupted hour of relaxation. Traditional orchestral instruments mixed with evolving synthesized tones, creates an ideal environment for the beautiful piano of Alchymie, all laid on a bed of gentle ocean waves. These elements combine to create a sonic atmosphere that will leave you relaxed, centered and energized.

New Collaboration Echoes of the Sea Release Sept. 16, 2019

Coming this September 16, 2109 look for a new collaboration with Spectral Reflections from Venice, Florida with their debut album Echoes of the Sea . This album takes you directly to the ocean side with soothing music for a complete uninterrupted hour of relaxation. Traditional orchestral instruments mixed with evolving synthesized tones and piano, all laid on a bed of gentle ocean waves. Spectral Reflections is composed of Virginia and James Wilson, from The Live Room and have worked with me on past Alchymie projects and live performances, so I was extremely happy to have a chance to collaborate on a deeper musical composition level together on this album. The evolving electronic sounds along with the waves made a very special backdrop for me to to record piano tracks and with the added challenge of “less is more'“. Spectral Reflections is a project of light and sound focused on creating beautiful music and video intended to relax and center its audience. I am looking forward to performing with them and their video productions for this album, details to follow for upcoming performances!
