It's a new normal for the world, and the world also comprises of underprivileged children. Children who have dreams which are limitless. Children who wish to learn even from their homes. Children who have not given up yet. Even though the children were restricted to stay at home yet they were craving for the same learning environment which Alankaar provided before lock down, hence we collaborated with their parents to continue the classes via WhatsApp video call. We were a bit skeptical at first but our children loved the idea. The online classes at Alankaar is the new normal. One of our dedicated #Alankaar #Community member #Siddharth #Gupta donated soap bottles to the underprivileged people to fight against Corona. He single-handedly raised funds and with support from Alankaar community members, donated 311 pieces of soap bottles. “Diwali”- THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS, is all about reminding ourselves of our blessings and appreciating the same. Deepawali also motivates us to reflect some ray of hope towards others, while adding the sweet essence of positivity and optimism.

- This is how #AlankaarFamily celebrated Diwali along with #Careers360 team. We organized a Diya decoration competition and some games for the children, followed by dance and drama by our talented kids who had lots of fun along with some quality learning. The celebrations were carried out in an eco-friendly way, as we said #notoplastic and served in steel glasses and paper cups.
