Now this is a mount I NEVER thought I'd get! Definitely not one of the prettiest anymore, but it feels like a classic one!

I'm so happy they brought it back for a limited time for us to get our paws on <3

Mount #156 ♥ - Ashes of Al'ar "Al'ar was the beloved pet of Kael'thas Sunstrider, who often boasted that death would never claim it. Perhaps he was right." --- As if blessed by the mount-RNG God themselves (and I will never believe myself that this ACTUALLY happened!) I managed to get Ashes of Al'ar to drop in the *exact same evening* as my previous two mounts - Experiment 12-B and the Life-Binder's Handmaiden!! ♥♥♥ Not only that, but several days later I ran the instance again on my mage as I'm still missing transmog pieces from Tempest Keep... and it dropped AGAIN!! Twice in a row!! I'm... very sad that nobody was with me I could give the mount to. So a second Ashes will sit in my bags forever :') Literally nobody would believe this story if I hadn't taken screenshots! Ashes of Al'ar, as most people know, is one of (if not the most) sought after mount in World of Warcraft. It's been an icon of the mount collecting community since The Burning Crusade and I cannot believe my luck that I managed to acquire it so quickly (in only 37 runs to be exact, only to then see it drop again on my 38th run!) I don't think any mount will ever top this one! ─── ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ───

Mounts #154 & 155 ♥ - Experiment 12-B & Life-Binder's Handmaiden "Some believe Experiment 12-B is the result of a covert S1-7 initiative, others consider it the outcome of embryonic tinkering by goblin scientists. In an extremely bizarre and unlikely turn of events... I got these two mounts in the *same* run!! On my 68th attempt at Dragon Soul, they dropped back to back! (Alongside another mount which dropped the exact run after I was done with these two, which I shall post about shortly..!!) That's it! Dragon Soul cleared!! I can't believe it's over and that I got lucky enough to acquire the final two in the exact same run! ♥♥

Mount #152 - 153 ♥ - Spectral Gryphon & Spectral Wind Rider

When they announced these mounts were coming to the Trading Post for November, I lost it!! These two are a little bit special to me because they were two I snagged way, way back in the day on my original WoW account.

I was never sure what happened to that account when I returned to WoW for Dragonflight - I had last used it in MoP and I hunted for the email it was under, the account details, character names... I couldn't find it anywhere. So I had no choice but to start a fresh account. And these two mounts were two of the rarest I owned! So I'm really happy to finally have them back again! ♥

Mounts #150 - 151 ♥ - Temperamental Skyclaw & Jade Pandaren Kite

150 mounts reached!! ♥♥ To celebrate, I really wanted my 150th mount to be something special... I've been leveling Alani in the Azure Span recently to get her to 70 and remembered that the Temperamental Skyclaw was available and I *adore* foxes so she was an absolute must..! Plus I got a nice chunk of experience for grinding the mobs for the items I needed! And now the Pandaren kite is mine! Super happy to get this far ♥ ... Now on to 200!

Mount #149 ♥ - Eve's Ghastly Rider

"The preferred transportation of the Fenlow family (especially during Hallow's End)."

Happy (almost) Halloween everyone!! 🎃 The trading post gave us a nice little treat this month! Our very own broomstick! ... Makes me wonder what Hogwarts house Alani would be in?

Mount #148 ♥ - Crusty Crawler "This rare giant crab has taken a break from its nautical nonsense deep under the sea to explore the surface."

It's been a few weeks since I snagged a new mount but luckily managed to grab this guy just before the end of the month! Definitely one of the more interesting mounts given that he walks... sideways haha!

Finally! It happened! I've been slowly working on this since April, and it's finally done! ♥ I admit I do love Outland, but some of these zones (especially Shadowmoon Valley with all the zone-hopping and dungeon requirements) were a pain at times! That's 1 down and... 9 to go, oh boy... Kuraine will now spend her time rep farming for the TBC reps I didn't finish yet and hunting for the elusive Ashes of Al'ar~

Mount #147 ♥ - Blazing Drake

"Blazing Drakes exhibit a boundless passion for life, and are considered by many to be among the most loyal mounts on Azeroth."

After many weeks running Dragon Soul across different alts, finally one of the mounts drops! I did (roughly, as my Rarity counter stopped working every now and then) 40 runs until she dropped!

... Now to live in fear of her dropping again while I try and farm the other 2 mounts!

Mounts #141 - 146 ♥ - Netherwing Drakes

Kuraine's adventures finally took her to Shadowmoon Valley where one of the first things I decided to work on was the Netherwing rep for these beautiful mounts! Hunting around all over the place for the eggs was actually really fun in my opinion! Definitely some of my all time favourite mounts, I can't even pick a favourite because they're all such lovely colours! ─── ･ ｡ﾟ☆: *.☽ .* :☆ﾟ. ───

Mount #140 ♥ - Alabaster Stormtalon

10 mounts away from the 150 achievement! ♥

I finished the trading post log for August and snagged this guy! At first glance I wasn't actually that keen on him but the little glowing sparks that come off his wings while flying are gorgeous!!

It's a shame they made it so you have to buy the Gryphon and Wind Riders separately (give us more tendies Blizz, and not in the cash shop!) but hopefully in the future I can snag him too!

Mounts #135 - 139 ♥ - Riding Nether Rays

This rep took me several weeks of on and off farming due to the fact that there were almost *constantly* Horde in the area farming the mobs I needed! Luckily, today, it quietened down a bit so I flew through the rest of revered as fast as I could! The nether rays definitely aren't my favourite mounts but I'm willing to admit they are interesting and unique! My personal favourite, of course, being the purple ;)

Decided to start working on Ahn'Qiraj this week (though I was completely unprepped for how much content this raid launches at you, wow!) and so of course on my first run I managed to pick up these three boys!

No red one yet though, sadly!

Mount #130 ♥ - Felcrystal Scorpion

Only 20 left to go until the 150 achievement! ♥ Had to snag this badass boy off the Trading Post this month! I had *just* enough tenders left over to buy him and thank goodness I didn't have to worry about getting Tyrael's Charger either! Have to admit I'm usually not a fan of scorpion mounts but the colours on this one pop so nice I'm actually a little more drawn to him!
